Green Tint in DirectDraw Mode

I don't often post here, but I've been having a somewhat bothersome problem in JJ2. Whenever I go to DirectDraw mode, everything is tinted green. I have tried it on all types of color settings and whatnot, but nothing so far has helped.

I am running a Gateway laptop with a standard LCD screen. The video card is a Mobility Radeon 9000. The operating system is Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 Release Candidate 1.

I can sum up your answer in one word:

FDISK

Oh, have you tried rebooting?

FDISK? Uh, no.

And, yes, I've tried rebooting.

Look in the advanced display properties, in the color tab (or something like that), and see if there's some weird green setting for fullscreen mode.

That would be my guess.

There are no specific categories for full screen there and everything looks normal. No dice.

Does this happen in other full screen things?

I don't think so. I don't have any other apps that use DirectDraw, to my knowledge. Unless UT2K3 and similar games do.

*Does so anyway.*

I do have the latest drivers. Thanks for the somewhat hidden suggestion, though.

Try running all the tests in the 'dxdiag' program and see if it gives you any useful information. It would also be good to try other programs that use DirectDraw and see if they have the same problem.

Did this problem begin spontaneously, or was it after you changed something on your computer? Or has it always been like this?

I ran the indicated program, but there are far too many things to paste here, and for security reasons I'd rather not paste them all. Should I sent to you, or are there certain sections I should post?

This program, for all I know, has been going on since the computer arrived. I did not try DirectDraw four about a month after I got it.

I don't know how I could help if you posted the results, but I thought you could look at them and see if they report errors or problems. If dxdiag doesn't report any problems, the problem may not be related to DirectX.
