First time I played JJ1 was in 1996 at my buddy's. Later I forgot about it until I played JJ2 in 1999... at my cousins'.

I believe that. I played tetris when I was two.
But Jazz had to wait until I was four!

JJ1: Hm, I was probably six or seven. Always played the shareware version, I got the full with my JJ2.I have never finished JJ1, though.
JJ2: That was 1998 first with shareware version at 11 years old. I was quite a kid. World looks and feels a little bit different these days ![]()

6 in 2000. My auntie's a school principal and I went to her school's fair. In the library everyone was playing JJ2. It was AWESOME, so we got a copy of it. HH98 I saw in a school book order magazine in 2001, I IMMEDIANTLY ticked the appropriate boxes, got the money and sent it thru. A week later I was the proud owner of JJ2 1.23 x, or HH98.

I was two. The year was 1994. It was a rainy, dark evening (yes, I actually remember.) My dad brought home a disc full of shareware PC games. My even younger sister wanted to play Jazz Jackrabbit because she liked bunnies. And there you have it.
I never bought the full version of JJ1. I did look, but I was young and not very good and finding stuff. Then in 1998 I picked up JJ2 at CompUSA. Of course, it came with the full version of JJ1. I was very pleased. =]

Uhm.... JJ1 demo in '96. There was a corner market that had shareware disks for like, a dollar apiece. I bought a few, but didn't pick up jazz right away since the cover art was a little ugly. I think I was around 15 at that time.
Downloaded the JJ2 demo, then later bought the full version in 2000 with money from my first real job. I ordered it off the net along with some supplies for a real rabbit that I would get later ![]() |

If I'm correct, I first played the jj1 shareware I got on a shareware collection CD. Don't remember the exact date I got it, but I think it was before the Win95 days back in 1994/95. My age was about 10 years at that time.

I was 15 when I bought JJ2 (with TSF). I guess I must have been 14 when I first played the JJ2 demo. I have no idea about anything before that.

I played Jazz when I was five, around 1994 or 1995. I got the demo for Jazz 2 in 1998, so I was about eight at the time. I think I started playing online at nine or ten.
And I'm still here. Go figure.

I was something like 4 or 5 when I played Holiday Hare '94. And yeah, that was in day-nursery. Thanks for the ladies there who told us about Jazz. :'D Next was the Holiday hare '95, and after that, JJ2. I was around 6 then.

JJ2 shareware in 1998 when I was 14.
I am not sure when I first played Jazz Jackrabbit 1. I can remember playing it twice before I played the second game but I could never get into it then. (I played nothing but adventure games before that, those were so much better then everything now.)

I think (not quite sure) that I started playing Jazz2 probly around 2000.
(I played Shareware) I would be around 6 at the time.

No idea when I first played JJ1 or the JJ1 demo. My earliest Jazzy memory is of playing the second level of the 1994 Christmas edition. |

Back when I was a kid, I would buy anything with a rabbit on it. So when I saw a little 3.5" floppy disk cardbord box with a green rabbit on it in Calgary (I think it was 1997 or '98) I immediatly latched onto it and got it. Despite it being a shareware game, I played it inside out multiple times. (I also played Duke Nukem 2' shareware inside out as well)
I remember first hearing the menu music playing and thinking, "This has got to be a really cool game!" Ordering the JJ1 CD was my first mail order when I turned 14 |
