What's happening to us?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I've noticed that lately, there's been less and less servers, (now usually there's only the 2 dedicated ones, and the "SamG" one), and even less online players to accompany that.
What's up with you guys? don't like JJ2 anymore, or are you just bored with it? I'd just like to say, unless you want this community to perish, you should come out of your idleness. |

Timezones?
Yes, the worst invention ever created. TIMEZONES.
They really screw it up for my TSF server since I can never be here unless I am off school. (Since European timezones have them play while I am at school ![]() So, that could be your probelm is that you aren't on the "prime time" of Jazz. But sadly, yes, our community probably IS decreasing as people slowly stop to play. ~SB

Actually, with the release of some new game consoles within the same period of time, people are probably toying around with games, looking for pre-orders, checking other sites about the games and console, etc. I'm sure the community won't be affected overall as a result of this, though.

hehe, i wouldn't mind playing jj2 at age 30. Jazz 2 forever!!!!
Please don't be so pessimistic, it's already quite a while ago since Jazz 2 was released (how many years? someone help me out), and look at all the people who are still playing. Community isn't dead yet, not at all... a few days ago i saw at least 10 servers up at the same time, (though that was an exception all right), but there's still interest in the game, and that's what's important.

Really right now we should be in a slump...
Sorry if this offends some of you but: All games eventually die, some faster than others. Jazz2 does appear to be dying since it's main source of joiners is dead and there's no way to find Jazz2online unless somebody was really desperate to get here, there's only a link to j2c on jj.com which is the only reccomended place on j2 and j2c is dead so there's no way to get to j20 and then to logicware. Also there is the fact of the gamecube and other people doing other things. Yeah, we all do grow up at some point to where platform games aren't enough (I had an idea for a game, an animal kingdom type thing to where you're character is defined by a limited number of animal like adapters like falcon's wings for flight from cliffs, amordillo's armor for protection, stuff like that). Lets face it, people leaving becuase of restrictions and repetiveness isn't new, and people not coming becuase of disconnection is very old. I myself haven't played j2 in a while becuase I've been busy, this is the time of year when school builds up and pulls out a knife. So, in sense the community may be dying, or it may just be in a slump... I think the game I thought of was inspired by Megaman X but eh. Does anybody know a game like that anyway?

I catch people playing online in my morning timezone hours
![]() And if I stayed up late, I'll find more 1.24 servers ![]()
