Not something impossable

We all know, unless epic or someone else releases the source, no programs for jj2, that change its files, are possable, unless someone by compleate accident cracks the formats.

So i should have said this: No impossable programs like JJ3 or a new level editor, spirte editor, ect. These are all impossable to make unless we have the source

Enough Said...

Encryption and compression... even though the source code for the compression is downloadable!

Ah, an attempt of a program to decompress j2l files.

http://www.gzip.org/zlib

Yes. Early beta versions had level files of over an MB. With th right encryption it got smaller and smaller. Same story with the music and everything else.

It is... if you'll look in the program you'll see traces of copyrights from zlib.

..ASM is hard, but that's not the reason
If you get it.. and understand some basic concepts about ASM, you can disassemble a program and understand it

Like JJ2

erm, Zlib is a compressor... I'd just like an mutated form of Gzip that'll accept jj2 header files.
