Very strange error happened... (not to do with jazz though)

My computer messed up, so i restarted it...

this is what happened:

windows started as normal, but i got an error when everything was complete...

Microsoft Windows
Error
File Not Found

?

?

Before all this happened, My computer (aka Windows Explorer) didnt respond correctly, and i got a virus recently (just yesterday)... does anyone know what the problem is????

oh yeah, when i opened aim, my other screenname was on (same time, 17 hours) (i was on the other one)...

Just Format and Reinstall Windows

Well something deleted the "win.com" file. Do you end up at the DOS prompt? Try doing "cd \" then "dir win.com /s" to see if it is moved. If you can't find it, the only thing you can do is reinstall windows.

Aol products don't do well when detecting if you're offline or not. Anyhoos, that sounds like a virus I once heard.

You can try to install Windows over Windows, or restore Win.com from a friend, also another system files, but I suggest you to backup all your important things, format the computer and reinstall Windows back again.
