Jazz Jackrabbit 2 Online

I just got jazz jackrabbit 2 a week ago (After years of drooling)

However...

When i go on to mutiplayer, it sayz "Error conecting to list servers"

Now this is not the message that you would like to see when you want to go online

I applied the pacth, but that didn't help anything...

a little help?

You need the list server patch. I can't recall where to get that, though. BTW, this is a Technical Help topic.

Go get Alberto's 1.23 Listserver exe file. That'll fix it. Jazz2Online.

This is the most common problem that prevents more people from playing Jazz2 on the internet. Sad, really.

Is going to be another one of those people who never posts again? It seems that anyone who joins and has numbers at the end of their name (most of them anyway) never post again. I don't know, but someone might be trying to annoy us.

We should really promote the listservers patches more, whether this be the Registry one or the Exe one. Spread the word ppl, or rather, the file. :P

I tried downloading the pacthagain.. turns out I was using the wrong patch!

The shareware patch...dumbdumbdumb...

Heh.

We should publicize the listserver patch, somehow. But... how? if they're not on our JJ2s, we can't tell them anything (unless we live near them.)

The best way is just to add it to the 1.25 patch, but we have to wait for the source.
