Remember the last time I had a secret project?
I have a new one now. Last one was that hotel, in case you missed it.
I'm not going to directly reveal what this level is, and if you are one of the few people who heard about this (I leaked the information when it was in the conceptual stages), pretend I never told you what it was. I want to keep this secret so I can play a guessing game. I'm not going to explain what this concept is, or how you play it, but I will give a hint. 0 - Control room closing crate. 1 - JAIL2 system activator. 2 - Controler. 0 = no, 1 = yes. 3 - Allow betting to start 4 - Match ended (winner collects winnings, hits regenerating crate, spectators exit arena) 5 - Player #: Player 1 = 0, player 2 = 1. 6 - Player 1 loses. 7 - Player 2 loses. 8 - Player bet on: 1 = 0, 2 = 1. 9 - Someone pities you enough to pay for your freedom from the loser box. 10 - 1:1 for player 1 11 - 1:2 for player 1 12 - 1:3 for player 1 13 - 1:4 for player 1 14 - 1:5 for player 1 15 - 1:1 for player 2 16 - 1:2 for player 2 17 - 1:3 for player 2 18 - 1:4 for player 2 19 - 1:5 for player 2 20 - Deposit 25 coins. 21 - Deposit 50 coins. 22 - Deposit 75 coins. 23 - Deposit 100 coins. 24 - 1 coin bet. 25 - 5 coins bet. 26 - 10 coins bet. 27 - 25 coins bet. 28 - 50 coins bet. 29 - 75 coins bet. 30 - 100 coins bet. 31 - Arena entrance. I will not explain what the above list represents. Here are the rules of the game: If you guess, in detail, what this concept is and explain how to play it, you will have permission to play it once it reaches the beta stages, as long as your guess has some accuracy. Post the guess here. If you make a bad guess, I'll just reply with "no" and you can try again later. If you reveal information to the point where I think it ruins this whole guessing game thread, you are disqualified. You may not blatantly copy the guess of another person. Asking a question which has already been answered gets you disqualified. This will work much like the riddles thread in misc. You may ask yes or no questions, and I will answer. If you think you have a good guess, post it here and if I think it has merit, you are on the testers list. Just don't copy another persons guess. That's just redundant. Change the words around a bit so I know you can understand this. Why am I doing this? For my own amusement, mainly, but also because I think this is a good way to find testers, and a good way to see what you think a good gametype would be. Begin.

Well the list is obviously a list of events, in a 1 on 1 style game in which spectators bet on one of the players to win by depositing coins. The winner stays on and receives a regenerating carrot and the loser has to go to the loser box.
Beta testing please? ![]() |

I'm guessing it is a gambling system where you probably duel people for coins. Depending on how confident or whatnot you are, you can bet an amount and you can also challenge people to odds of winning. (1:1 though 1:5 odds) After you run out of money you become a loser, but someone else can buy you out, perhaps by paying your debt (although I think that would be too hard to do) so probably they just pay a standard fee to free someone.
One thing I'm not sure about is what happens to money once it is deposited. |

An interesting concept. I've been thinking of such a system, but could not come up with something that worked reliabily.

"If you guess, in detail, what this concept is and explain how to play it, you will have permission to play it..."
"If you reveal information to the point where I think it ruins this whole guessing game thread, you are disqualified." Wouldn't the former result in the latter? Or is this just a clause to prevent leakage from your testers? It loos like a game where two players duel, and everyone else bets coins on who will win. However, I think this may only be a smaller part of the game; you probably have to earn your initial coins in some form of battle/exploration. Its also possible that you simply get a solid amount of coins upon the start of the game. I am curious to see if found a way to keep track of everything in game without aid of pen/paper. ![]() |

What I am talking about is if someone knows what this is and says it. You are all free to speculate.
So far, none of you have guessed what this level is in exact form, but everyone who has said something so far gets to play, once the level is ready.

I changed something. You can now deposit 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200, 225, 250, 275, 300, 325, 350, 375 or 400 coins. Horray for binary trigger systems.

Players collect coins for later use. If anyone feels like dueling he/she enters the arena. Once 2 players are in the arena the other players become spectators and betting takes place.
When the duel's over the winner sets other players free from spectating (by means of a box) and earns coins. The former spectators earn coins if they betted right. The loser, however, ends up in jail and can only be set free by another player that pities him/her.

Let's see... do you use the coins for your hotel?
Or... It is a dueling system where one duel takes place at a time. The first two start, then the winner stays. They other players who did not just lose bid coins on getting to duel the winner. You can also bet coins on who is going to win a match. There are different areas to give coins and receive coins, which will be guarded by EvilMike or the administrator.

Those numbers are probably trigger ID's and beside them Mike typed in what each of them do.
Heh, I was beaten to saying this.
