OK. Let me put this another way. This is a plot device. Therefore, if I say it is unstoppable, it is. Whining will not change that. I need to excercise some of my power.

Then, it would jump to L_G's dimension. No shield could stop it then. If that fails it would take the most direct rout and simply open a black hole next to the interceptor. The sheer amount of magic energy vibrating around the Interceptor should be able to make even the most braindead mage realize something is happening.

Just so you know, there is one enemy and one character in Skies of Arcadia that can use a technique that can render the user invulnerable for one turn. Plus, (you may already know this) there about a dozen or so cards in Yu-Gi-Oh that redirect or negate attacks. And I'm not whining; I'm 18, for crying out loud!

Sorry to be stern, but the Interceptor was built as an assult/transport vessel for interdimensional travel, and it needs that Noshield so it can travel through the Nth Zone safely. The only thing that CAN penetrate it is A-Abilities and weapon attacks from other ships or heavy artillary. (hint, hint)

Oh yeah...didn't your rules say no instant death? Wouldn't shattering a petrified person count as instant death, hmm??? >: )

Yes, but this noshield can make you practically invincible for an infinate time. And no, I am not complaining about spell imunity. I am complaning about what is basically total invunerability. I.E. being invunerable except for one flaw which the enemy can not take advantage of.

Yes, but I never intended it to be finished. I intended you to stop the spell before it was cast, not for you to put on god mode and walk away. I guess I underestimated your love for invincibility. If you say that isn't changing anything you have to remember you didn't have a problem with this before that was enough for you to voice it, owing to the fact that you though you would be able to shrug it off. It not happening is the same, in a way, as just being immune to it in the first place.

Only on certain occasions. This isn't one of them. I will die if my storyline permits it. But as long as one of my characters exists, I will continue as long as I feel like it. Don't gorget about the Dragonballs either, though I doubt they will be used that often.

The spell fires it spins off. It transports through the shield. It shoots towards L_G. It hits him... and the shield, which was slightly distorting it, causes it to bounce off and shatter the controls. The ship is now on Pandomonium Manor, but no-one has any control over it. The door opens, to the suprise of the crewmembers who were trying to hotwire the door open. A creature enters. This creature is a fox, with light blue fur. He steps in, and walks up to Lem_Gambino. He takes out a seal and places it on Lem_Gambino. The stone around the paladin cracks, and breaks away. Mysterious figure uses amplified soft! The fox looks around at all the monsters around him, and holds out his hands. He runs forward, tagging the monsters. As he tags them, they are unsummoned. He holds his hands into the air, and the Interceptor fades away around them and is replaced with a wide, open plain. He draws his sword. His wooden sword.
"My name is Martin Teiamet, magehunter. I was hired by Rspss Fr to beat you. Lucky I had access to a dimensional portal."

What, just because I have a natural resonance to antimatter where I can control it in any manner I please? Just know that any antimatter within ten yards of my body can be controlled at my pleasure. Just like in Pokemon, Paralysis doesn't work every turn. You also didn't consider the fact you said that Delta appeared, but didn't disappear...O_o Also, I was thinking about using a Final Fantasy X-style turn system, with the CTB window and everything like that.

You hit me with three techniques in a row, so don't talk. After that, I thought "Oh, if he can use three techniques in a row I can attack three times in a row." I just attacked three times. Imagine running up to someone and slashing at them three times, instead of running up, slashing, running back, ect.

I forgot to say he did. However, I can assume you infered he did, since he has passive invisiblity.

That still does not explain how you can hit me while invisible while no RPGs allow you to do that kind of stuff. I might as well say I cut your arm off and lower your attack to zero.

L_G recovers, but the paralysis sets in again. "This guy is good..." L_G says to himself. He tries to get a lock on the duo's spiritual energy.

Taunt: "Even if you do destroy me, I can come back...I have...my children..."

Cloak Inventory's affect won't work, because Maintence protects the holder's items and weapons/armor. You need to play more FFTA. =P

L_G uses a Purifying Salt. Martin takes 382 HP damage, and loses all Beneficial Spell effects.

well, I think it's just common sense that if you've taken a huge amount of damage you'll die or run, and if you keep on using uber spells then you won't be able to cast them after a time

I don't have FFTA, but I do have FFT. Maintenence, from what I remember, prevents your equipment from being broken. This is totally different.

But anyway, you have got past the easy half of this fight!

Martin's invisibility fades. He says, "nowhere. We are still on your ship, the scenery is just holographic. However, that is not for long..."
The scenery fades, and is replaced by the ship. After a moment a portal opens, and they are sucked in.

Now, they are on the moon, behind the magic amplifier. A atmospheric generator is nearby, as there is breathable air here. The mage there turns. He is wearing a deep black cloak with chains, glowing blue in the faint light, sewn in. He looks in the direction of Lem_Gambino (which is hard to tell. His face is in the shadow of the cloak), and then starts to talk.
"Welcome. I am Tangent the Warp Sorcerer. I am also here to defeat you. You will not find me as easy as them two."
He holds his hands out. A line of blue flame shoots out, and starts twisting in the air. Soon a spiral of the magic flame is in front of him, shimmering and shining. With a wave of his hand, the spiral breaks in it's midpoint and the flames scatter and dissapate. The air seems to darken. In a rush of energy, Lem_Gambino is knocked to the floor. Tangent cast Spiral Breaker!\
Lem_Gambino's hp is now at 1! Tangent cannot act next turn!
Martin and Delta are unable to act, as they are still disoriented.

Xion, within Gran Da Val, notices a blink out of the window. Looking out, he sees a large black crater on one of Ragol's moons. "What the..." Xion mumbles says under his breath, and rushes off to the roof.

'Hmm, let's see...I just got attacked by some Sephoroth wanna-be, and I'm outnumbered. This won't be easy,' thinks L_G.

L_G hits Overdrive! L_G uses Shooting Star! Tangent takes 738 HP damage and is sent flying...right out of the atmospheric generator's range... Tangent is *almost* dead and crispy.
L_G uses First Aid. L_G recovers 201 HP and can use items again.
L_G uses an X-Potion (he only has 2 of these). L_G's HP is fully recovered.

I checked gamefaq's, and I got the impression that in FFTA, 'maintenance' means the item cannot be stolen. Whatever.

Which means the last action you did was impossible. And I don't remember seeing you being able to use shooting star... but whatever.

EDIT- I checked your skill list.

Yeah, maintance makes it so that theives cannot take items, like Gil and equipment, but it doesn't say anything about stopping action of items. That's something for immunity, not maintance.

Xion gets to the roof and looks at the moon as a large flash appears on it. "What in the name of everything holy is going on up there?" Xion mumbles.

Anyway, Tangent's mage chains passive ability would make him immune to any of L_G's techniques. Unless those warrior techniques are actually for some strange reason magic spells.
