If you are going to steal skills from other games, steal them correctly. Maintenence has nothing to do whatsoever with EXP, and only keeps stuff from being stolen or broken, depending on what FFT you took it from.

I looked it up a while ago. I remember in FFTA Maitenece keeps your stuff from being stolen. It has nothing to do with exp; that you made up just because you wanted to look cool.

Risp motions around. Seventeen mirrors appear around him, and spin like a giant wheel. They grow smaller and smaller, and flow closer and closer to him. Suddenly, they all break as a wave of energy eminates from Risp. Risp used mirror wheel!

I am using the strategy I have always used to help me in this battle- the more you bring against me, the more nasty stuff I send against you. And I can think of more nasty spells than Paradox Spanner.

And yes, you're in Solitary Confinement. All of the walls are soundproof,a dn there are no windows or cracks; not even a conveniently placed air-vent for you to use. But there is a really nice light bulb here.

1. Contained paradox holes can deal infinate damage, without the user knowing infinity magic. Since we all are too overpowered here, I have magically aquired the ability to contain them.
2. It is kinda funny to ban infinity magic. It is impossible to enforce this unless you know inifinity magic yourself. And, in that case, it would be like banning banning things.
3. Why do all your best blows require you to invent a higher power to help you enforce it? Also, I didn't agree to have a judge here, so this is a no-judge zone.

Basically, Planal Rift is making somebody else planeswalk...by force.

Judges appear whenever a battle is engaged in Ivalice. In Jagd, however, there are no Judgemasters or World Laws. There are no rules, but if you are dead when the battle ends, you have to revive them yourself. (In FFTA, characters that are dead at the end of the battle are gone for good unless you revive them before the battle ends. Fortunately, this isn't FFTA, so we don't have to worry about it.)

I'm glad this isn't FFTA also. That would be so hard to keep track of.

Not likely, since L_G is immune to mind control and all forms of having the enemy control you. Of course, that was out of game, so that rule (and just about everything else) was thrown out the window.

You don't need mind control to charm someone. It is just the most direct way. For example, you could use careful illusions to trick the enemy into reaction certain ways.

No, not like that. Imagine-
Me, you, and Xion are in an arena. You are on the same side as Xion. I make an illusion of me running in front of Xion. You take out a rifle and shoot in that direction. You hit Xion and kill him. Get the picture?

Thankfully, L_G is too smart to be deceived by such illusions. Intentionally.

The only way to not fall for a really good illusion is to attack in random directions and hope you hit something you want to hit, since with a really good illusion you can't trust any of your senses.

Or just cast a spell that hits all enemies.

That only works if you know someone is using an illusion on you.

I am beginning to plan out my first moves. Now, I obviously won't tell them to anyone but Strato and possibly Cooba if he asks, but I will assure you Xion will get attacked- and not by space, but more or less by ground.

Then he'll nuke your troops with his Illusionist spells. Prominence(sp?), anyone?

It would be interesting if he tried that. Some of the best troops I am sending to him constantly have the reflect status effect, or this one killer anti-magic ability. This would be the job for single-target spells.
