The Qu-Mek JJ2 2on2 cup I
Hello everyone,
I'm proud to present you the Qu-Mek JJ2 2on2 cup number one. It is a 2on2 tournament where teams meet eachother on the battlefield. It is supposed to be a cool and funny tournament, if it is a succes, we'll make prices to win ![]() How does it works? It works kinda simple. You can sing up your 2vs2 team by posting here. If all the slots are full, I make the FAIR matches. You got the time to finish the duel till every 2on2 finished, but, please, play it ASAP. In every round there is a different level you have to play, only non-overhosted levels are played. If much teams join, The tourny will start with a group-format. If 8 or less teams join, It will be just knock-out! The mappool 1st round :
Current teams singed up: Anakin & Chiyu Urbs & CrashMash Sasik & Sylver Snooz & SuperJazz/Vivando Ragnarok & DarkSonic Reptile & SkulL Messiah & IronLight Maverick & Grytolle Current people without a m8 yet singed up: Vegito SkulL Maverick Grytolle If you want to be in too, post a reply here or add me to msn: raver007@gmail.com. There is no deadline YET... Beware!

A few questions and remarks:
How many teams can sign up? Will you be using a knockout or a group format? What is your definition of those "fair" matches you mentioned? Random matchups or something? You may want to arrange dates for the matches the same way reptile did in his clan tournament: set a date and time yourself, and if any of the players know on beforehand that they can't make it, they can ask to set up a new date and time until everyone's happy. I'm afraid that if you let people arrange this all by themselves, they'll never get around to completing their games. When doing this however, keep the differences in timezones between some players in mind.

Uhm, how many teams can sing up? pff i think arround 8, and if there are still ppl want to join then, probably 12 or 14
If many teams sing up, then we start with a group format, if there are 8 teams, then knock-out. WIth FAIR maches i just mean fair matches, I'll make some paperthings with on each a teamname. I'll put them in a basket and then I'll take one out, then another one. That 2 will have to fight against each then... Ofcourse, if possible, I'll make the dates, but if there are very much ppl who sing-up, I'll give them very much time to finish

Because Single Elimination isn't hard enough to organize. I would only recommend a Double Elimination tourney if it's 1on1.

What do you think about changing the lvl in 1st round ?
![]() I think that for example SBv2 would be better than Sanctuary, since many ppl don't know/don't like Sanctuary ![]()

I strongly recommend not changing the levels. Changing stuff in mid-tournament rarely does any good. In this case, the following would probably happen:
Team A defeats Team B in level X in the first round. After that, level X is being changed to level Y. Team B: "OMG REMATCH WE DID WRONG LEVEL U CHEATER HAX" Team A: "NO WE BEAT U ALREADY NO REMATCH NOOBS" And that isn't good for anyone. So keeping your currently selected levels is probably the best thing to do.
