From now on any JCS-related competition will be stickied if you put them in this thread. This is to make them more visible, and also encourage the public to take part. Mind you, these will be stickied until the deadline of the competition has been reached.

Note that only well thought out competitions will be stickied, otherwise this thread may be filled with a lot of pointless overcrowded stickies. Something like Radium's 'tile' contest (See who can make the best tile) will not be stickied for the obvious reasons mentioned above

Just some rough ideas so you people know what I'm expecting from a well thought out competition:
-A decent sized project to do
-Several rules/guidelines to follow
-A deadline

You don't need to add a prize (fame is enough for some ) but remember that it could encourage more entries.

I'm closing this. Nobody did anything wrong or such, but it was meant as an announcement, not a place for discussion. If you want to start a new competition make a new thread and I will sticky it if I think it is worthwhile (and if I'm unidle ofcourse )
