Seattle is my favourite so far. Though I wouldn't mind Portland or Vancouver. Southern Cali I'm not too fond of.

And I will hopefully be able to go this one ;| We'll see.

This has been idle for too long. If it remains idle, I will take it upon myself to start working on planning.

Sure. Trafton, I know you're reading this. Want to help me think of rux stuff to do in the Seattle area? I've already got a few ideas:

(Seattle center area:)
Space Noodle (even though it's sort of expensive, it pwns)
Sci-Fi Museum (This place pwns with a capital 'p')
The Pacific Science Center could be fun, too. They have some rux stuff there.

Please provide feedback, people.

Ok, no one is showing any interest in helping, so I guess I'll take it upon myself to start work on plans.

It's still rather early though, since this will be happening in around 8 -9 months.

It might also depend on the people attending, but it would be good to choose at least some events that are not really tourist attractions or museum-type things. On the previous page I suggested laser tag and bowling. There should also be plenty of 'hanging-out' time, as VelK mentioned in her post that now appears to be gone.

What if they discuss sex when you are around at the meeting?

What's wrong with discussing sex? ;(. As long as you don't continously start sex-related conversations everyday at the meeting or do it to intentionally (-) someone off, I don't really see what the issue is...

It was a repetitive discussion topic in #jj2, along with ops not doing their jobs correctly.

Just for consideration, I heard very little sex talk at EC2005. People are far less comfortable with such discussions in person. And people are also a lot nicer in person.

I don't even remember any sex talk at EC2005. The only thing I remember happening in that area is Nimrod sending an offensive link (which I laughed at nervously at the time, but was rather annoyed at). It was pretty PG.

I think that during EC, most of us were having too much fun to think about sex.
