A tribute to American video game music composers.

And guess what the first song is? Jazz, that water level song.

Aw, I was so ready to post about how this isn't a jazz music forum.

Is it just me or is that song a lot better than the in-game one?

That was my first thought. And I found the topic very amusing coming from someone who obviously knows that already.

Aaaand Water Level still remains the most often remixed Jazz2 tune. But this is indeed the best remix of it so far. Other remixes on this internet CD are great, too. I suggest it for anyone that likes to listen to game music.

...which is a semi-arrangement of the Metroid theme song.

I don't hear JJ2's Tubelectric remixed all that much, but that's just most likely me.

JJ2's Tubelectric = barely remixed
JJ1's Tubelectric = remixed too often

The Tubelectric in JJ2 is already a remix of the one in JJ1 so it shouldn't count. On the other hand, yes, Water Level is a remix of the Metroid 1 title theme... That's no coincidence since it's mentioned in the mod file from Lori Central. If so, then... uh, then putting a remix of Water Level on The American Album is a mistake because the composer of the Metroid theme is Japanese!
