The order sucks. Let the maker (in this case 2GJ) choose the next person to make the level.

You're giving structure to a liberal community who takes what life throws at them.

And because having someone make a pre-defined order gives one person too much power, which also doesn't seem to be tolerated in the community.

Plus we're at a very early stage where you should have people better at storytelling to get the main plot across, rather than people who may or may not be better at making levels.

As much as I would like to do this, I'd need assurance that my turn will come within this year.

You do know that nobody's going to wait for his turn, right?

This is a community episode, so the community itself should decide what to do.

Best option would be to start designing on paper... I use that often... and this way is very good for adding ideas and fixes.

The design of the level does not always have to do with the story right, you need small thinks like "in the jungle" of in the desert.. but you can always warp to a other location

It would be a shame not to use this part of the tileset. About 70% of the level is done, I also need to improve eyecandy in some places... But this shouldn't take too long... In fact, you can already declare if you want to betatest. :P

One thing I dislike in that tileset that it's barely possible to distinguish the layer 4 masks from layer 4 backgrounds, that ticks me off. Make them transparent and put blue tiles behind them on layer 5? That makes them purple, which is pretty nice.

And I wanna test too D=

Another thing is that the tileset highly demands to put most of these background tiles in layer 5... I'll try with transparency, but since layers 6, 7 and 8 are used as background, the idea of making them purple is almost impossible to pull off...

...but I still think that tileset suits my ideas the most.

I can betatest, as long as it's just one level it shouldn't be a problem. And it's just one level, so it's not a problem.

I wont mind betatesting it.

I have completed my initial betatest of DoubleGJ's level.

Trust me, you guys are in for a treat. As long as other levels uphold this level of standards (BTW, I volunteer to do a tile-boss level)

I cant play the level. out of memory error...

I try it with 1.24 after I installed it though.

Strange... The level isn't that big nor it uses many triggers... Maybe you really lack memory.

It´s the music file. I can play it without music.

Ah yes, it's quite big... A bit over 2MB. Maybe I could try editing it to trim down the filesize.
