That title screen isn't fooling anyone, Jimbob. The menu could however.

I highly doubt a commercial JJ2 DS would actually show the version in-game.

Anyway, why would there be a quit button in a ds game?

The Quit could take one back to that intro thing where you can choose between the game and Pictochat and all that jazz.

I dont think it's really possible, since no games includes the ''quit'' button. If your in pictochat or the options of the DS it even has to be shut down to get back at the main menu of the DS. Well, it's just a hoax anyway.

Because you can't update a DS card easily. Only a small amout of space is allocated for flash memory.

There are actually possible solutions, but they're too farfetched.

Anyway, this is the first decent DS hoax I've seen. Good work.

Looks great n00b, The only thing I don´t like is the lower screen that looks very cluttered. It reminds me of New Super Mario Bros.

Yeah I couldn't think of what to do with the bottom screen, and just made a fairly random HUD design.

In Sacrush's picture, the first screenshot's screens (heh) are somewhat squashed; you should cut off a bit of each side so it looks more normal.

But it's the real DS screen size.

Edit: Nevermind, I know what you mean, But I don't think I will fix it.

Yet another revival. So I was bored, and had a weird conversation:

[18:33] <EvilMike> also i had a dream where i saw you upload a 1600x1200 jj2 screenshot
[18:36] <Neobeo> awesome dream
[18:37] <EvilMike> it was colon2 btw (you have to make that screenshot eventually)
[18:37] <EvilMike> so i can say it was a prophecy

Which made me come up with this:

Neobeo revived this in a good time as any, to be honest. I wanted to make an anniversary hoax for a while, and I finished it, well, like just now. I didn't feel like waiting two more days (for the exact anniversary date) though.

Anyway, this is what JJ2 could be if Neobeo and J2NSM would've arrived to the scene a few years earlier.
