Fooruman: Foshizzle on the servant and defend.
Faw: Defender and attack left servant.
Uberbob: Attack left servant and defend.

(I hope this works)

You can't attack and defend in the same turn, and you'd have to specify a target for defender.

There's a limit of one spell per turn (among all people) along with what Risp said, and Faw and Uberbob have a shared attack/movement here.

Usually I'd just translate the commands as best as I could into ones that work, but whenever there's two spells you guys always seem to claim I picked the wrong one and deliberately screwed you over. )=

"Well, at least WE aren't dead!" I exclaimed brightly, as I checked the sink. The water wasn't running. Maybe it was frozen. "who wants food?"
I recieved an awkward stare from everyone but Fooruman. Shuri wispered something in Araches' ear.
"Really, Shur, we haven't eaten in like a day. We have to keep our strength up so we don't starve, because if we have to resort to eating eachother or something, I'm probably the most expendable, ability wise." I held out one of the foodbars. Shuri looked at it a minute, then took it.
"I'll eat it later."
I boldly strode noth. "Come on guys! Uberbob is right! We have a dreadlord to defeat!"

Before us, a chasm and banner on either side, stood a great door. Uberbob was already there, giddily waiting for us. "Faw!" he exclaimed, "This door is locked."
Without stopping, I pulled the machine pieces from the Birdclaw mansion out of my backpack. When I was about ten feet away, a hurled them up about 40 feet into the central, eye-like indentation above the door. I jumped back in shock as spikes shot forth from the ground, blocking the entrance. Lifeblood washed into the walls, and hideous, snakelike creatures rose from the shadows.
Uberbob turned to me, hands on hips. "Faw! You set off the alarm!"

Meh it's just not fun knowing beforehand you have a counter strategy for Feat and Custard's last stand or that Abydos can be raised.

Also, since Cooba seems to be the only one with access to all of this information, it seems we're all just letting him do whatever.

Cooba knows nothing that is a secret from you. All that he did was, by checking filenames and poking around the image directory, find out that the bridge was going to shrink. Monster spells don't even have icons, so he can hardly find out what they are in advanced.

That's presumptuous. Abydos CAN be raised, but none of the Abyss Monsters have raise. He could only come back if Faw or Fooruman did it. And what do you mean "counter for feat/custard's last stand"?

Uhh.. what? The only thing Cooba ever knew that you guys didn't was that the bridge narrowed. He's just the only one doing anything, giving the illusion that he knows what he's doing.

And that's because he had the initiative to ask me if I had any tips. It's not like I went out and singled him out to tell him things. But, if you really want, I'll block Cooba from AIM so you don't get any tips at all.

My tactic is the same as with any other spell that does massive damage: If it looks like you're going to use it, kill the caster. If you've already used it, heal the target. It's hardly a strategy.

Risp already knows not to give out any important information. This is a tactical battle, not a battle of who can derive the most from an AIM conversation. I haven't given Cooba any help, and all Risp does is remind him "don't forget to defend =D", though I wish he'd stop that.

If your problem is that Cooba is actually trying, then why don't you actually try? It's not like Cooba has done so good a job so far in killing Abydos or anything, anyway. If he was getting huge super info from me he wouldn't be losing so easily.

Anyway, back on topic guys. Risp summed it up pretty good with "If your problem is that Cooba is actually trying, then why don't you actually try?"

Not a bad way to advance and defend at once =o

[Quantum Squaredance] Fooruman starts dancing in a quaint way, and a glowing square appears around him. Euclidean and non-Euclidean space begin to intersect and shout insults at each other and vandalize each others cars, and the Laws of Physics are too distracted to notice that Fooruman and Faw/Uberbob had traded places with a faint twang sound.
Faw/Uberbob defends
Araches/L33tz4n defends

question: is life drain a spell, or just a ranged physical attack?

To summarize a bunch of deleted posts: Life Drain is a magic spell.

My turn to horribly slaughter the party:

Fooruman: Dispell Arazen, Defend
Arazen: Summon A.W.A SW of Fawbob
A.W.A: Attack (heal) Fawbob
Fawbob: Raise Shuri, Defend
Shuri: Attack Lurker, foshizzle lurker

Before you do all that however: If Abydos dies, any of his summons (currently being Servant and...Carl.) are dispelled before they have a chance to do anything like ressurect him? D;

Edit: changed my mind on something

There's a one spell per turn (not per character) limit. It's a common mistake. Also, in answer to your question, no.

But for like the second time, the monsters don't HAVE ressurrect spells D=. Just because magic immune characters CAN be ressurrected doesn't mean they WILL. Unless, like I said, Faw does it. Giving ressurrect to summonable lackeys is too low for even me.

EDIT: It just occured to me that ToU HAS had a summon that could ressurrect before (Talon Birdclaw's Danger Muffin summon, using Feat).

I'm gonna die :'(

The ground moves after your turn. What you see above is how it is when you move.

[Dispel] Fooruman breaks the STONE-TASTING magic around Araches/L33tz4n with a wave of his hand and a sound effect along the lines of 'shazam-kablooie!'
Fooruman/Canoe defends
Uberbob slaps and Faw stabs Carl (6 damage)
Araches/L33tz4n defends
the Servant claws Fooruman/Canoe (5 damage)
the Lurker lunges at Fooruman/Canoe (5 damage)
the Drudge grabs Faw/Uberbob in one hand and starts punching with the other three (5 damage)
Carl complains at Faw/Uberbob until their ears start to bleed (5 damage)
Abydos defends
[Frost Armor] Abydos's eyes darken and its door pulls closely shut as trickling streams of water pour up the wall and onto its door. The water freezes and hardens into a thick armor of ice. (defense doubled)

Abydos HP:40/40 (+): (-):

the Servant HP:28/30 (+): (-): the Lurker HP:30/30 (+): (-): Carl HP:24/30 (+): (-): the Drudge HP:30/30 (+): (-):
Fooruman/Canoe HP:10/20 (+): (-): Faw/Uberbob HP:8/24 (+): (-): Araches/L33tz4n HP:15/20 (+): (-):

Raise belongs to Faw and Fooruman, not Araches/L33tz4n. Keep commands the same otherwise?
