hi there i'm sick and tired that epic killed off jazz3d so i'm starting to make my own version of it

ah no i'm doing a full 3D game i'm not using game maker that is crap and you can only make 2d games. i'm using a real engine to make this game.

I don't know what makes me lose more faith in this project: that you completely missed the sarcasm or the phrase "real engine".

Amesoftware is already working on this (see the "What if" thread), maybe you could help him, before starting something really big in your own, without a final product probably (You know how these things go, enthusiasm doesn't last forever)..

ok to answer your questens
1 i am 15 years old 2 i would love to have a team help me but i'm the only one i know that loves the jazz games eneagth to work for hours on end to finish it. 3 yes i can model, animate and all the stuff 4 yes i would love to use the unreal engine but it cost's a lot of $$$$ and yes i know i'm young but that doesn't mean i'm not good at what i want to do ![]() i hope this answer's your questions. |

You never said what engine you were going to use, if you were using the UT engine(not nessesarily UT3 Engine) I would probably help with the mapping anyways. Also, Aren't 'Real Engines' the things you find in cars?

It depends on what you plan to do, if you want to make a mod then it's free (you can't sell it. ;p) if you want to make a whole new game then sell it you need to license it.
