8D, since they have 5 of the "best" players today in their clan, and when they're up against a strong opponent, they use lame teams such as "Vegito, Yasco, Superjazz" which no clan can counteract.
Have fun competing. |

Yes it's utterly lame to use a team: "Superjazz, Vegito, Yasco"
I suggest we ban 8th Dimension from the tourney, for being so lame that it uses their best warteam. The thing I most like about jj2 is that thanks to lag and other stuff it's completely possible that a team like MF can be able to win DM. No offence towards VS, but I believe it lost a huge part of it's power when Mave clanhopped. R3p might have been a good replacement but he also left.. Anyway I'd guess CraccoClan wins because they have Maverick. This is not a joke!

Maverick is a good player, but you're overrating him by quite a margin.
VS's warteam was fine etc etc, we just played below our expected level against 8D and even more so against LR. Lag of the level that features lagclones, fake healths, airhits and other things that affect gameplay quite a bit played an atrocious part in the game against LR, though. I can only suppose LR had much less lag, because they didn't seem to lag at all. And simply Grytolle, Maverick (who are both very good players) and a few other decent or semi-decent players likely won't be enough against 8D concidering the team rosters... |

Chiyu is a good basic teamplayer, Maverick is an awesome teamplayer when he plays with good teammates. (I once tried to be a good teammate and mine and Maverick's teamplay worked so impressively that I have high respect for some of his skillz)
Then as a third put someone with bad movement but good understanding of the game and skillz to RTS (Grytolle) and that's an excellent team.

Unaware of the fact that it's 3v3?

Idiocy aside, I think CC vs 8 D would be the most interesting final to see. I'd estimate the potential of these two to be roughly equal, so perhaps we may finally see a three-round game if this comes to pass, which would be somewhat interesting.

well after the initial defeat, sure why not?
![]() I mean its not like i dont think they arent swell chaps or anything, I just think other clans play more, and by doing so have a better shot at it. IMO anyway....

Your first game... against MF

Yea everyone has bad days, but I'm beginning to believe it's not only about bad luck. I've lost many 2vs2 to those MF dudes. Me and r3p lost 5-3 to Excalibur and Zipper and then me and SQ lost 5-2 to them..
They are lucky, their whole playing style bases on luck, but they still very often win... weird ![]() If I'd have to say a clan that "surprises" in this tourney that would be MF.

That is true.
Although it seems that they're not so strong against me... Maybe that's the random 'weakness' bit... Sometimes you win good players and then lose to whoever they can easily defeat. Just something I've noticed... As people have their initial playing styles and strategies... Sometimes it just happens that one's way of playing is effective against someone else's and that's what makes games interesting sometimes... It doesn't work on anyone, though. |

Yea and lag does affect the games a lot. For me for example it's crucial that the Comp hasn't warmed up, couse if it has, it gives me a low fps and I suck.

And coming back to the topic... I'd vote for CC. ;P Why? Because from what I have seen their teamplay is still at higher level than other clans. 8d has many great players, but they didn't impress me much in our match (VS vs 8d) and I think that DM is a bit too rusty, they are much weaker in comparison to 2004/2005 (and earlier), when they were dominating the scene.
Of course it would be nice to see some other clan winning, but I don't think that i. e. MF is experienced enough to win JJ2WC. However, the reults in this edition (or maybe in all JJ2WC's editions) are often hard to be predicted. What's more, the lag, as always, has big impact at the game. That's all means that this season can have many great matches and unexpected results. ;P

Listen Emp, I've got a bone to pick with you.
There are proud people out there living hard lives, and they are far too down trodden for you to make fun of them! I take offense for these other people! Oh, and stupid people too, they also live hard lives. |

XDDDDDDD! Now you're talking about those levels me and zip had never played before XD. That doesn't really make sense to come and say so when we play your levels and something we had never tried. But yes, CC will maybe win, that clan includes the biggest pu thief ever XD. Without that person, it would be out already. |

The bottomline is that I've seen how you play against me, commonly (in some known levels too) and you're not too impressive... ;P
