Tileset Error
I've created a 320x320 pixels picture to try if making a tileset will work. The TilesetM.bmp file has transparent upper left corner, three couloured tiles and all the others are black. I did everything ok and when I pressed "BUILD" an Error Message appeared saying :
Error! Can't open file "D:\Mladen\Jazz Jackrabbit\Jazz Jackrabbit 2\Tiles\TilesetM.bmp" Done - 0 successfull build(s), 1 error(s) Does anyone else has already had this problem and does anyone know how can I solve it? This is the tileset (I made it using photoshop) : ![]() The corner is transparent (dunno why it appears white) |

At a guess, whatever program you are using to edit TilesetM.bmp is still "holding on" to the file, thus not allowing JCS to access it.

I got my problem solved. Actually, my image wasn't 8bit. Violet helped me.
When I start Photoshop, I select 8bit, and when I try to save it, 8bit radio button is grayed out. I don't know how can I fix this, maybe I'll use another picture editor, but, I got my main problem solved. Sorry for disturbing, if anyone knows how to save 8bit .bmp images in Photoshop, post your ideas. Thank You in advance, Pyramid. |

If you're not too bothered by the palette you could use TilesetPal to reduce it for you.
