Graffiti
A handful of you here know that I'm a fan of graffiti and like to mess around making my own. I don't very often anymore, but I have a large collection of stuff I've done, and I haven't been able to share any of it until recently. So here are some random pieces I've scanned:
Oil Pastel: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/60324913/ Coloured Pencil: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/60326492/ Misc. Pencil: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/60331971/ All except the coloured pencil one is quite old. That and the miscellaneous doodles were heavily 'corrected' to try and help give it less of a sketchy feel, but if anyone is interested I can provided unmodified versions. Feel free to criticise, it won't really mean anything to me though. Just wanted to share. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Heh, for a mess it's not bad. The main thing you might want to play around with though is getting a better flow with your colors, the third picture does that well but the first and the second both show a lesser migration in your colors. Graffiti is an art that especially builds a lot on blending your colors well together for your intented motive.
I don't have any hints on how to work with graffiti in general but I think you might want to watch some of Bob Ross' videos which are not only very interesting but also teaches you a lot about using traditional colors. http://www.youtube.com/user/ilium86 |

You're much too kind.
![]() I appreciate the critique, though I did imply that this is something I do randomly without putting a great deal of thought into it. All of the links I posted above amount to doodles, really. And usually when I doodle I don't get a chance to play with colours - the oil pastel one is actually one of the first. But thanks, though.
