Improving the quality of TSF players
I have an idea. What if the Battle Server would be hosted as multi-version server? Noobs from 1.24 could come and fight with people on 1.23. No more boredom to them, and people on 1.23 would benefit too because they would have more people to shoot at. I know this is already possible.
When you make a multi-version server, do the sprites get converted when you use Carrotade so that both 1.23 version and 1.24 version players can see right ones? Probably not. I suggest to make a program for hosting multi-version servers that would do that and make it easy to host them.

I don't really see how this will improve them. The battle server is full of 1.23 noobs anyway.

And in case you didn't know that, a server utility is already being made. Starting another project to make such a tool is just pointless. Just wait for Neobeo to finish his Azure Moon server (if that is still its working title).

They're playing for fun, right? They don't have to work on improving their skills, they may just do it while they have fun playing.

We've already got noobs on 1.23 who use names like geiorgbh2g5, as jamster said. Anyways, I'm pretty sure they enjoy playing against each other as the majority of players on TSF are around the average noob's skill level.

TSF people are never bored, because they have much more hosters and players in public servers than 1.23.

yeah, 1.23 has lots of newbies these days. I've recently played (private server) against some people from my own country, who thought they were 1337 jj2 players. It didn't surprise me when they went on using shields in B1 and said that was the whole point. As expected, I've beaten them by far in all three battle levels.
