EDIT: I also timed out of that server about 2 other times I didn't catch on a log but this time I caught it. Make what you want of it. It could be my connection but I have reason to believe it could've also been crashes.

Most likely just someone using a nick similar to Orbitz.

He's a script kiddie would be more like it. Everybody hates him. He's alive for one reason. To cause complete hell for jj2 players. He like crashing servers and messing with players and stuff.

Whenever I play (without my router kicking me off), I usually play under a different name. The reason? Because I hate when people pester me about things like "WHEN IS NEXT FOO MOVEI COMMING?" or when people say "YOU'RE NOT THE REAL BLACK NINJA."

More on-topic, so what if Orbitz is back? He was nothing more than a minor annoyance back "in his prime." All he is is some kid with a memory editor and a VB decompiler. Not too scary as far as I'm concerned.

There is this person I Dont know who, who made a site full of cheat programs as well as crash programs.
Im not sure who made it, it doesnt say, neither I put the link here. It basically means that 99% of the players at JJ2 cheats nowadays. Kinda sad and boring. Also 1.24 players seem to get crashed quite often.

Orbitz was some annoying kid who used to crash servers with a program named ASD a couple of years ago, back when we didn't have any protection tools such as Carrotade. Drmoo often tends to make a fuss about him.

fuss? You do realize that all Orbitz has to do is meganuke a server and boom carrotade is going to have a tough time blocking that (-).

I don't recall orbitz crashing a server for a long, long time. All he did the last time he was on JJ2 was chat-spam whatever server he was on.

This thread is an embarrassment. Flaming people is not considered right on this board even if they have a bad record. And you know our policy on "speculation" regarding hackers.

Again I say "Please let this thread die." Even if he is back, it doesn't matter. He wasn't the horrible monster DrMoo would have you believe he was, he was just some guy who downloaded a bunch of pre-made "hacking" programs and crashed some servers.

If the above makes him sound 'evil,' you need to examine closely what your views on good and evil are.

Indeed, he has a bad record as I have too. But he seems to not only aggressively attack servers, but he doesn't stop. Ok, if a server banned you for no reason, crashing it certainly isn't justified but you had a solid reason to as that server (-) you off and you made your reaction. On the other hand, if somebody just randomly unfairly crashes your server when you didn't even do anything, you were actually just being nice to them and chatting, there is no justifiable reason for that and therefore, its what makes me dislike Orbitz.

He may not be a monster, but he certainly needs to learn boundries and where to draw the line and where to stop when it comes to hacking and disruption of servers.

And it could be considered harmful. For example, if you have a word document open, working on a project for hours, and you decided to take a quick 30 minute break by playing Jazz Jackrabbit 2, and boom, your whole computer freezes, there goes several hours of work if unsaved. That's the type of thing that can be a result of Orbitz.

Therefore, he is indeed not a monster, but some online guy who just has a harmful past, and therefore gave himself this bad label. Now, if I see him in my server and it goes uncrashed, and he acts cool and isn't nasty, I will change my opionions on him but for now I have low thoughts of him.
