Some countries have enough players to handle it fully alone.. Im sure UK has enough now... PJ, myself, Spaz18, GP, WR (if he still exists)
Poland DEFINATELY has enough... NL DEFINATELY has enough... Im not sure though =p If a partnership should win, I think there should be a showdown between the partnership o.o |

Well, perhaps we could just make it so that only the nations that are big enough in terms of activity will play in the tournament. That would still be only a few countries.
I suppose at least these countries could be up for it then: Belgium Finland Poland The Netherlands United Kingdom Countries that might to be able to participate if they'd manage to awaken inactive players: Canada Israel Italy Germany USA Countries that got only 1-2 potential players(or so do I expect it to be at least): Australia Bulgaria Malta Russia Sweden Mention if I forgot some country. So anyway, if partnership should be avoided in your opinion, then I guess these smallest countries are to be ignored. Only those nations who can prove they got at least four active players (1 for backup) are allowed to participate.

Maybe start a new thread/tournament and let this one sleep. Or let's do a jj2wc3, or finish the old one, if someone has a (completely honest) idea about where that ended. Anyway, good ideas SJ, but combining nations will ruin the concept. |

About jj2wc, I'm not sure how I feel about it. Let the old one die and just start a new one? I'm not quite sure anyway how active the clanscene is atm..

I think it will be good to restart both tourneys. TM might be a somewhat stronger clan that the 'other' clans mostly are in the jj2wc. And about the national tourney, if the Netherlands needs any players, I am available. (Only not in July)

I guess NL will be able to participate indeed. I'd just have to wake up MS, Quickz, Chiyu, Anakin and DarkSonic. Half of that problem is solved.
Anyways, I highly doubt Belgium can play. Yasco won't be able to play till at least July... Then theres Squirrel, Pyromanus and Leen? o.O Its a country I got questions about ;p |
Jun 16, 2008, 06:09 AM | |
Well, I can't play most of July either, so why dont we just sceduele it a few days after the JDC, so everyone is still active?
P.S: I'm awake :P

It is a nice idea, Anyway In Poland things are different. I'm afraid to much people will want play this, I think Sasik has his own team and He doesn't want put anyone else to this team, if I'm right - We Can Make 2 Teams from Poland or 3v3 Who's team is better. In my opinion both ideas are sux and I hope Sasik is up for choose a team with me. It was about new JJJ2WC, I know I wasn't on previous JJ2WC so if you guys will continue old one, I think this older team will play.

The thing is, that a team should be able to provide at least 1 backup player. 2 would be recommended. But since Poland seems to have much active players, the possibility of 2 teams from that same country could be considered.

Ultimately, seeing as Poland has so many players, I really don't think its fair for them to have two teams. =|. I think the best way to really settle this is a clan tournament, and most of the current clans are big enough to enter two teams should you wish to do so, although that again isn't an idea I like. If the other Polish players really wanna play, there should be some form of rotation so whoever wants a go gets one. Morphing countries together is kinda eradicating the point of a National Tourney, but then again, many countries are almost the same... and also they'll be able to participate then. Also, should a joint-country-team win, there should be a 2v2/duel between some of them to determine whichever country wins, just so that there is an ultimate winner.
Conclusion - Don't like the idea of having two teams to one country. |

That would be a new tourney and not a "continuation of the nations-tourney".

As Sasik said, I have to agree with that, Anyway We talked already about this, And We're in one warteam for this tournament.

Who what where? Oh, I didn't realize this topic was still active. Well, I don't know how much I will play in this and in JDC.. I will miss at least one round and I'll only play events.
|

In fact, I get pretty well paid for it, with funny replies like this one.
Anyway, my point is that I think it would not be fair if the less skilled players of a country can not participate just because they live in a country that has more players than other coutries. You could at least give them a secundary tournament.

Life ain't fair, Jerry. That's why development is a requirement for survival.
If you're not among the three "best" players from your country, then you need more training. Just play a thousand 3v3s and come back, ( |
Jun 19, 2008, 08:52 PM | |
Alright, we'll even call them 'special' players, because they are special and should have special benefits. Because they are privaliged enough to have them. Let's just have it all working perfectly and fair, and say that a losing team/player lost because the other team/player had an unfair skill advantage. So let's have entire playing field even and every result will draw to infinity.
|
Jun 20, 2008, 02:51 AM | |
Oh please. Look at the EC 2008 that's currently going on. Is there a second Dutch team with players that weren't good enough to be in the first team, but hey, that's unfair, so let's enter a second team? No. If you are not good enough for the "first" team, too bad, train some more.
|
Jun 20, 2008, 09:20 AM | |
You make it sound like an online RPG, you train and get EXP and become a higher level than the others... It's not really like that, but then again it is a national tournament proving which nation is the most superior. I dunno what to say except I sympathize for those who dont get to play.
Despite it not making sense to be a national tourney, because of putting various teams together; I still think we should do it with some: A tourney is better than no tourney. |
Jun 20, 2008, 09:43 AM | |
A nations cup is completely organizable.
And those (clearly) outside the 'best 3 players from their country' just don't play. That's that. (Of course the fourth and fifth best can play a couple of matches, if they aren't a whole lot less 'skilled'.) |
