Hey Jimbob, looks like a clone of Algid Jollification for me.
Still very not nice.

That's not a PA though, it's just cooba saying that your level (or levels by you in general) is (are) "still not nice".
If you don't want people telling you that your level doesn't look good, don't post screenshots here — and reconsider the way you give feedback. "But it was just him dissing my level, he didn't give any constructive criticism!" — nor did you offer any arguments for why cooba's level is "a clone of Medieval Skyscrapers". |

Well, it's not against to rules to speak negatively of someone else's level, so deal with it or stop posting in this thread. Of course it'd have been nice if cooba replied constructively instead of just qualifying your screenshot as "not nice".
But then again unfoundedly claiming someone else's level completely rips off another level is not very nice to begin with. |

Err, guys seriously. And at the level, yeah it uses the same set, so? Does that mean any battleships level made is a ripoff of SBv2? In which case... I rip blur a lot... (And to answer any questions, this is not directed at Jimbob, its just some others said its a ripoff too (possibly not in this forum)) |

All these post seem to be distracting from the fact that Hitch just finished some awesome levels. I haven't had a chance to play them agianst other people, because my router's been giving me problems, but from what I've seen, the levels rock. I especially like his flag run level. It's much larger than many flag run levels, and I think the dead zone was an awesome idea.

It seems you've used up layers 5-7 to make the background... failure is nigh.

Not rlly. The tileset features enough tiles to make 'layer 5 eyecandy' in layer 4.

Fine, my comments here are done, since they seem to collect half-arsed, twice as pointless replies and too much attention.

I'm starting work on a new tileset. I've barely done anything, but I took this screenshot for fun (and in hopes of getting this thread back on track.)
![]() The tileset's going to be a small, suburban town, where Jazz might spend time when he's not saving the world. I used Neobeo's sprite dynamite to get all the frames of the Jazz running animation, but replaced the gun with a lawnmower. I haven't even made any ground tiles, so I used water to make sure the palette's ok.

That's ridiculously awesome. Let me beta-test it.
