I guess you are new to Jazz? Welcome!
In responce to your question, "Internet Play" Is the one you want if you want to play on the internet, the other option (I can't remember it right now) is for if you want to set up a game on a Local Area Network (LAN). Either of these has two options: A server or a client. Server basically means you host the level, and other computers will connect to you to play. Client is the other way around: You connect to another player who is a server. I tried to explain it best I could, but here's some more help if you need it |

I'm not new to jazz. I just recently found out about this site. I used to play my copy of jazz 1 with episodes 2-4 on it for hours. I have beaten jazz 2 several times over and over. I have lost my copy of jazz 1 a long time ago however but I still play the shareware levels every now and then. I am just new to online gaming

Get things from here
http://www.jazz2online.com/J2Ov2/nod...yModeDownloads As for joining games, pick Internet Play and pick Client. Pick one player (1), set it however you please, and pick Start Game. It should then open the serverlist, and if you can't join any servers make one your own by going back and picking Server. There you can set the server and pick Done once you are... done. People should join your server in about 5 minutes. If they don't, no one is online. I hope I've helped.

A LAN is if you have several computers connected together (They might also share one internet source) and can communicate with one another. hence, "Local Area" LAN mode are more for "Private Partys" with friends on nearby computers in the same building (Internet players (I don't think anyway) cannot join LAN games). |
