No, the game itself isn't pending, just the rest of the title. But I am making a SSB clone. There's 30 confirmed playable characters, along with adventure and story mode, plus CDs that can be found throughout the game, similar to the way Rockman and Forte did. Aside from the 30 confirmed, there's also several non-playable bosses, and a few unconfirmed characters that might get put in, assuming by the time the others are done the game isn't too hugantic.

Of the confirmed, Jazz and Devan are included. Spaz hasn't made the cut, but he might later on, depending on certain variables.

More news and screenies will be posted later, but this is just so you guys know it's happening.

About as legal as any fangame. As long as you're not selling it and proper credit is given, you're somewhat unlikely to receive any legal crap about it.

The only people who really get pissy about fan projects is Square Enix anyways.

Labors of love cut into their uncreative process. They have to kill them before the fans realize they've gotten nothing but the same game for the last 12 years.

Releasing a tech demo would be quite nice.

I think you should use more than just jazz maps.....maybe like how in SSBB there are maps from the same games as the characters...eg a megaman/sonic map
