Faverite Gamemode 2010
I know this sort of poll must of been posted many times, however I'm not sure if there has been one since JJ2+. Not to mention its 2010 now and different people, different tastes.
State your reasons too. As for me CTF - Nothing funner than a tactical game of CTF. Battle/Team Battle - I enjoy spamming my space-bar. Battle also plays differently TLRS/LRS - Survival of the fittest is always awesome. Tests - Frustrating at times but I enjoy them Oh and the thread titles grammer error is an inside Joke. I like CTF, because the strategy and the vast number of awesome levels available for it. DOM can be fun too, because it often has more of a battle style gameplay, but with the action more focused. LRS is great fun because it forces a bit more caution and rewards playing smart more than spamming the space-bar. I've had a few fun Pestilence games, and in some regards it's like LRS, minus the annoying waiting part if you die. Also, Single Player, because there are some really awesome levels out there.

Hmm, I like LRS a lot for some reason (maybe because it has some kind of strategy in it, that isn't too slow paced), although some levels can be too campy for it. Sometimes it depends the mood for what I'm in (yeah, I should've voted for more but I forgot you could vote for more than one). And shame, treasure doesn't get much love. Although I can kinda understand as it makes you want to mash the space button if you lose gems by being shot, and won't let you go on a spring during blinking. And XLRS, well, I suppose it would work better with more campy levels.
CTF is kinda overplayed...it's not bad though, just it would be nice if people tried some other gamemodes for once. Domination lacks decent levels and is quite un-responsive, although I'm making 2 somewhat gimmicky levels for it. Jailbreak can be fun although sitting in the jail for 3 minutes can get really boring. Battle is alright, but I prefer LRS or TB (or even those 2 combined together, team LRS is pretty underrated). Pest can get pretty annoying after a while, although if it's played in the right levels, it can be great fun. Race is broken. Even when it's in treasure mode, when you get shot you can't go on springs...it's rather irritating. Single player has some cool levels, although they are either (like I said in another thread) too frustrating or too easy. Single player can get boring after a while too since everything is pretty much in the same place (like enemies and stuff). But multiplayer is hardly the same each day. Roast tag is alright...not one of my favourite custom modes though. Hotels and tests are pretty generic (although I sometimes play tests when I'm really bored, and there's near to nothing to do in most hotels, the tests in them are nothing special and really short anyway). The majority of them anyway. And co-op? I haven't played a real co-op level (in which means would require a partner/teamwork to pass, and no foo races is not quite what I meant, although those are cool). Only co-op in single player which is pretty broken. I'd really like to see a real co-op level that has enemies, requires not just one kind of rabbit to pass, you know like single player but requires a partner. If there is already, then point out and slap me with a fish. Well, as for the other custom gamemodes, those are usually done in JDC (like Robbery, Assault and Assination) and I haven't played those enough to say what I think of them. I voted CTF, DOM and SP. CTF is always good, team-based tactics. DOM is fun, inspiring, and nerve-wrecking at the same time.... and admit it, you like a good SP pack with a fun story.

I love jailbreak/survivor (the last one lacks levels though). But team last rabbit standing, ctf, last rabbit standing and domination are also nice.
There are also some very very fun to play assault levels and a big assassination game is awesome. The thing is you need a lot of coördination/skills and players to play these games (YES YOU GUYS LACK SKILLS TO PLAY THIS GAMETYPES, I KNOW THATS THE REASON WHY YOU NEVER WANT TO PLAY IT ![]()

CTF: This is a very tactical game, and the best way to play online.
Dom: This can be fun but ctf is better. Tests: I love tests, they are very fun to play, I suck horribly in airboard tests though. SP: Although the fun in this usually expires when finished, it's still fun. Co-op: Usually played with LPS. I played EvilMike's pack in co-op, and found many things you can do that weren't intended to be done. Race: I like good races. Races can be very tactical if made properly. I like Ground Force. Only because it's a completely original, unintended gamemode that was discovered. It's fun blasting people out of the playing area. I wish there were more Survivor/Ground Force levels.
From the choices above, however, I chose CTF, Test, Coop, Team Battle. I like tests if I'm in the right mood for it. Otherwise, they're an annoyance. I like CTF because it's fun working as a team I guess. I like Team Battle, usually. Depends on who's playing. But it's not as chaotic as battle. Coop is fun because working together is great! Race, I only like if it's a test race, like the foo races. As for other, there's also Onslaught. Still to this day, I have no idea how Birdie did it, but that original gamemode and level is still amazing.

It works fine locally, but doesn't translate to online play well.

My favorite game modes are XLRS (regular LRS rewards hiding too much), Jailbreak, and Ground Force. It's unfortunate that the latter suffers so much from JJ2's terrible syncing of destroyed tiles; I miss /update. Not to mention the general lack of good levels for it.
I don't like JJ2's CTF. With the fast pace of the game and a chat system that prevents you from doing anything else, it's really difficult to communicate anything useful to teammates, and nearly impossible to do something really coordinated. I also find it rather repetitive, as most levels end up with large portions of their layout ignored, and *cough* it has a few levels that get played all the time and a lot of (good) levels that are pretty much ignored. |

I never realized there were so many Ground Force fans. Why don't we have more of those servers? That's my favorite ever as well!

And the fact that there's a password on the server?

Sometimes there is, sometimes there isn't. How else would I know they are hosting Ground Force?
