Guns
If there were another Jazz game -- assume, for simplicity's sake, a 2D one -- how would you want the weapons to work? There are a number of in-series models to choose from at this point:
Is there one model that you think is best? Would you like to see some sort of combination of more than one of them, or perhaps incorporate other elements from other series or your own imagination? |

They were supposed to originally, but never got fixed. It's a shame really.

I like JJ3's model for the large number of potential guns you could create. Harder to create, but more rewarding, as it allows the player to experiment with different combinations to find one matching their playstyle.

Super Metroid style. Your main gun that can be upgraded in multiple ways (including charged shots) and then more powerful weapons with different dynamics as separate and finite. Also, missile expansion packs (bump the max ammo count) works well.
Man, now I want to play Super Metroid again.

I think a combo of JJ1, 2, and 3D would be nice, as in JJ3D's Customisability, JJ2's Powerups -- except with not just one powerup per weapon, it could be like a Talent Tree for different weapons(Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction-style) -- and its large list of weapons, and JJ1's Morph System(Different weapons for different Animals). Also, much more Guns and Ammo would be nice too. Like Plasma Ammo, or a Minigun, or Grenades! The possibilities are(Almost) endless!

JJ2. I don't mind customizing much. A gun that can shoot both lasers and and array of rockets is just brilliant.
