Racing wheel consoles for JJ2?
A few years ago, my dad has bought me the Thrustmaster Universal Challange Racing Wheel
![]() I've played lots of games with it, such as Need For Speed: Porche Unleashed. I found it yesterday and downloaded NFS Porche again. But i accidently came across that i can move Jazz (Spaz) left and right by moving the wheel. Since there's a D-pad on my wheel, i also randomly pressed buttons and found the shooting button, jump and change ammo button. But somehow though, jj2 doesn't seem to recodnise my wheel as a joystick, so i can't change the properties. While playing with the wheel, i can't look up or down, thus no stomping and special moves. So here's the fact: Is there any way i can ajust the settings of this thing for jj2? And if not, is it possible to code out something to recodnise this? :P |

The question begs though: Why would you want to use a racing wheel controller for a sidescrolling shooter other than the novelty factor?

Extra challenge for people who've mastered the game.

Although, it would be a nice challange to play with the wheel. EDIT: Also That's a nice idea. Although, the controls when playing the bonus levels are already sensitive, so it would be really hard to play with this thing. |

I remember having a steering wheel somewhere in 2000 or 2001 and I tried to use it with JJ2 so a third person could play in split screen mode. Mine didn't have that much buttons though, but they were recognized in JJ2.
