Jazz Graphics Pack - how do you extract all the graphics from Jazz 1?
Howdy! I tried to use Jazz Graphics Pack in order to extract tilesets, palettes and animations from Jazz Jackrabbit 1 but it just doesn't work for me. I followed the instructions in the readme file and it didn't help. Is anyone successful here in using this program? (or perhaps there is a better software to perform this kind of operation?)
Can someone please extract for me all the tiles, enemy sprites, animations and palette from Tubelectric? (sharing the content from this planet is not illegal, as it is included in the shareware version as being part of the whole first episode of the game) Greetings! |

Hey, I know this website but I thought there is way more to it? There should be more, since Tubelectric is filled with the animations (all the flashing items)...

When you see flashing animations in the walls and stuff, what you're seeing is JJ1 rotating sections of the palette, rather than separate frames in the tileset files like in JJ2.

Oh.
Then that leaves me only with one last doubt: how do you get the exact palette of the tileset/level? |

Well, the traditional way would be to use a program that extracts the image from the blockset file. If JGP didn't work for you (but we don't know why because you didn't say what you tried doing or what happened), you could try JJ1MOD instead?

Some time ago I tried to work with this image posted by Treylina but the palette of it is very messy. Here is how it looks in GIMP:
![]() So I'm trying to figure out how do I get a palette in reasonable order, so I can easily recreate the flashing animations. I don't need anything else really. (as for now I'm not going to explain why those 2 software don't work for me, as just recently I uninstalled Wine so I'm not able to check it again to remind myself what exactly was wrong but in both cases it came down to not getting any files extracted) |

Well then maybe GIMP sets it automatically when going into image's palette? I don't know. The point is that I need a nicely organized palette for J1 Tubelec and still have no idea how to get one (and most definitely wouldn't get mad at anyone who would just share that palette here

It's in Megairbase, but doesn't appear at all difficulties... Hard or above, I think.

I just played both levels on Turbo and no signs of Giga Spark.
![]() Maybe it is limited to certain versions of JJ1? I'm using JJ CD with no Holiday episode. |
