Not everyone likes the new splash screens JJ2+ uses, and people currently have no way of choosing another one or restoring the default. It's technically already possible to change between the two new screens, but it involves swapping .exe files, which seems unnecessarily cumbersome.

An ini setting would be the obvious way to do this, but this is complicated (I think) by the fact that JJ2+ currently loads ini settings after it loads the splash screen, so this would need some refactoring.
