Ability to read the mouse wheel from AngelScript

Title is self-explanatory. I've searched this forum and don't see any mention of this request. Apparently this was brought up in the JJ discord by Violet CLM:

Pity you can't read the mouse wheel from AngelScript
SE proposed it three years ago but nobody's taken the time to make it happen
But this was the only time it was brought up and it was from 2018 with no status update, so I'm posting it here as a thread for more visibility.

Thanks for the suggestion! Indeed it's floated around as a very low priority idea because it was not clear anyone would have any use for it, but having a suggestion in here does imply at least one person has a use for it, so that helps. How would you envision this interacting with the /flippedmousewheel setting?

Either having /flippedmousewheel on should also flip it in AngelScript, or a per-script variable could be used to let the scripter decide if /flippedmousewheel should be ignored. I'm not sure whether the latter would actually be possible to implement, but even if it is I think the former will make the most sense as it's more consistent.
