I heard several times how people sometimes complain that JJ2 has such a small resolutions, that on their 4K screen and so on it doesn't look good. We had Bigjazz which allowed bigger resolutions, but was somewhat buggy and now it is discontinued. Resizing the window with free scale is awesome, but manually we usually end up with streched mess. What if we had a command, which would easily enforce multiplied resolution. Let's just say that we cannot exceed the 800?600 limit right?
But if we can resize the window how we want, wouldn't it be great to have an option which would automatically strech 640?480 to 1280?960, but it is actually resized 640?480... and 800?600 being 1600?1200 ... or well 800?450 being 1600?900. (So you don't have to count the pixels by other programs and end up with perfect 1600?1200 and so on, without stretching or errors) |

Have you tried turning off "Rescalable Window" in Video tab? You can resize the JJ2 window while maintaining the aspect ratio. Or use an old third party tool, such as WindowSize2 to resize the window for you.

Now that you mention it, I remember that the window like skips jumps to a certain size, when you manually stretch it without the rescalable window option. I like didn't realize it's the perfect x2? Uhhhh. Silly me then. Ooof.

This feels like a good milestone, forgetting that JJ2 already lets you do exactly what you want because JJ2+ gives you an opt-in alternative.
Thanks Shaker for pointing that out--looks like I can move this thread to the Resolved subforum? |

Yea. I tested it today. And indeed it works like Shaker said.
