I use a Mac, and I wasn't able to play the games on the JAZZ2 site. Is there any way I can play the games on my Mac, without using my slower than a slug PC?

Hmm, well http://www.jazzjackrabbit.com has been down for like 2 years. And you should be able to play Internet Games, try doing what everyone else does. Open JJ2-New Game-Multiplayer Mode-Internet Play-Serve/Join a Server.

Try following those steps to play a JJ2 Game. I really don't have JJ2 on a Mac. I have a Windows 98 SE.

If you're talking about only games: As mentioned the games/links on www.jazzjackrabbit.com and jazz2.godgames.com are mostly dead. :\ So try connecting by using the menus in Jazz Jackrabbit 2 itself. And don't forget to be updated to the latest version! (1.2.6 or 1.2.7, I think)

If you're talking about levels: they should run properly on a Mac.
