New screenies = even more awesome.

I mean that page is mine. Pages usually belongs to guys who posted first post on new page, but if they didn't say 'pageclaim' or stuff like this, the first who says it 'claims' the page. Easy?

With the new JCF feature of rating thread, I give it 4/5 (could not give a 5, though.)

EDIT : Somehow, points don't show up :/

Do the seekers expldoe after a certain time if they didn't hit something? Otherwise they would be sort of overpowered I guess.

BTW, 1337 screenies

The seekers are way too small compared to Jazz. You also need a lot more variety and graphic quality in the textures, and not so much flatness if possible. The world does not have flat edges.

They're awesome. But Violet is right, the seekers are way too small. Make them, like, 3 times bigger. Spaz is ugly. You can see shading left after Jazz's headband, and you can see toes through socks. He also should be thiner. You can see on Jazz2 artworks how much thiner he is than Jazz. I like the freeze effect a lot, though.

that spaz player was just a tryout. we are still making other things working like maps and weapons, than we can fine tune things like the players and things like the seekers

Whee. That's time for a short review. This mod seems to be nice, give us a link to download it! By the way, is it based on Enemy Territory? I'm an ET addict and I used to be 1337 player there then I might rux in Razz Arena as well. Make all the weapons x3 bigger and work a bit more on graphics and stuff. By the way, Castle shouldn't have grass. =P

Why not? It's Carrotus Castle. You could see in the JJ2 outro that it stands on grass.

It should be noted that the part of Carrotus seen in Rabbit in Training/Dungeon Dilemma/Knight Cap is just the DUNGEONS of Castle (the normal part looks more like the castles in Stonar). It is entirely possible there is grass around the castle, which is where some of these screenshots are probably set.

lol ok thats real funny to me. if it is close to that then i got lucky. cause i had that castle face since the days of quake1 92-93 area. piet did the inside i just added the face and added a few things to have more combat though the map thought it still leaves about 1/3 out.

i can make them mod standalone but at the same time i cant. i can for personal use ONLY and i cant distribute it that way. also it would void online play unless sertain functions were changed on the server side.

i have already made some changes added new stuff for the next release but i still see that weeks in work b4 i feel it fitting for a 1.0 release. i have started a knight model for maps which is almost done, also been working on a outdoor style map using that castle again but COMPLEATLY redone. still using the face but diff textures, inside simular layout but different. piet has a pik of of it in the editor which still needs to be finnished. Theres still work to be done im just slowing down trying to make it more complete.

when i joined in i think it was ver .5. from there it was a weekly update till .8 cause it was all quick stuff to me which i have done before on personal mod projects. each rel whas a good improvement over the last. full workin animations for jazz though they are temp i still gota go though and rework some of it. Spaz came in as a player and animated, and the file size and stucture was fixed from what piet was putting out. that just a few things that brought the mod up from just forced charaters required and jaz having basicly a run animation and a fall over dead one. and the files got smaller.

to much text for now im done.

ive talked to a acctual host and got the ok. just need peit to return and get it all setup.

side note: i found a cheap and awsome game engin that once i get it all figured out the possability of a real JJ3 3d could work out. the engin i found has severl features found in doom3 and in the U3 game engin being developed. i just got the demo engin and the tools i just need to study it and learn its ins and outs. code isnt as strait forward as the quake3arena source.

i was looking at this one
http://www.4drulers.com/amp.html
but after playing another game that was built on it. ive been second thinking about it. the gameplay is very stiff not very fluid. as to the quake 3 arena engin the play is confortable and fluid.
it could be the engin, the game i played based on the engin or both. im gona try and find another game based on that engin though.

That's actually coming along quite nicely. Will players be able to change colors like in JJ2 when the game is finished? Might help distinguish between the different players.

Talking

im workin on charater specific abilitys right now. some reason i havnt been able to get a charater universal codage so right now its just basicly red, blue, and normal.
it wont be like JJ2 color chosing. im figuring on a nice selection of colors to chose.
ive got 2 basic character abilitys done. if i can manage a wall run ability then there will be 3 so far. 4th will be easy. right now i have a double tap system for spaz. as in double tap jump get a double jump. dbl tap forward, back, left or right and ya get shot in that direction. though its a little buggy on the dbl tap direction, it works but its more like hold foward and 1 sec later tap it and u launch foward at a high rate. also can be combined forward held and tap a diff direction. works in jump but u cant double jump and use the dbl tap function.
2nd class is just a off hand grapple hook. which will be char only too.
3rd hard to setup. wall run. may be a powerup ability in junction of the boost or fast run system
4th i need to start on is jazz jump and float thing. i have a rough idea on how to set it up.

doom3 came out in the usa on aug3rd i got it day it came out. so ive been playin that for a while taking my time. almost done with it.

Im not lazy.. ok kinda.. to much work on one thing so fast can burn ur self out.

(dem0? maybe. i have made my own standalone) ops.
