Zapper, there is a search button up in the topper area of the screen.
Please use it and type in the word 'Screenmate' or 'Screen Mate' for good measure add in 'Jazz' Good day. If you would like to see a different option of a screenmate, go to the official We Love Katamari site, register and download your own desktop katamari. Its been 2 days, hopefully this doesnt count as a lesser form of double ost that is looked down upon.
Anyways, I couldn't find the CD that contained Devan(that or I did not name the image devansheet.whatever, and cant think of anything logical) So I came up with the next best thing(Not really): Today, I have ripped the Rocket Turtle, Tuf , and Normal Turtle. All 3 are still in .bmps, and I think the turtle sheet hasn't been properly cropped of extra blank space. Also some sprites were left out of the turtle sheet because they were repeats, or just the same sprite flipped vertically. |

Whoa! What a lot of sprites! I will be able to do a Jazz katamari with this all... >)

I found that f12 no longer worked after changing the sprite, so I had to resort to ctrl+printscreen while JJ2 was in windowed mode and then I applied the standard jazz palette to it before adding it to my spritesheets.

*snif* The makers of jazz2 left so much from jazz2, what could made it greater. W-H-Y? Why didn't they do wall running? Why they left the tweedle out even they had JCS and sprites? Why did they leave A funky- tileset bonus level what wasn't ready? out of time? (you know, Jazz1 1994, Jazz2 1998, Jazz Adv. 2002...) ´Something else?

John, the game was started in 1996. If they worked on much else, Jazz 2 would have come out alongside Duke Nukem Forever. Which let me remind you will be coming out when mainstream commercial PC gamers have forgotten about 'sprites'. It would even more of a flop(according to G.O.D., the publisher for the US) then it was in 1998.

Oh for Lori's sake!
Here is some [I'm pretty sure most] of Lori's sprites: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...nalev/lori.png

these spritesheets are nice, but useless, is there an easy and fast way to make animations of them? we (=Jam and me) need them for rebuilding JJ2.

You intend to rebuild JJ2 (a dazzling feat, since it was made by proffessional programmers, fulltime) but think sprites are stored as animation files inside a game engine instead of as seperate images? (what Doubble Dutch gave you).
I don't intend to be overly harsh, you are essentially doing something out of nicety and have good ambitions, but you should really think things through some more before starting (at the LEAST).

Agreed. It's a much better idea to learn how to manipulate seperate images and define animations within the program than to use GIFs. If you take the time to test these things and find out for yourself you'll notice that GIFs load much more slowly as they play, because the file structure was designed to be small and overly compressed for easier downloading rather than more efficient playback. (You will probably not notice this on a P4 or equivalent)
On another note, you can more easily manipulate an image before displaying it, for simple effects such as palette animations or warping and twisting the image.

whatever, we found another way to do it, and thanks for saying that a GIF-animated game will work very bad no slower machines. Now we only need sprites of stuff, this looks like THE thread to post those, cuz it is made for that! (we DONT need jazz, spaz, lori or static srites, only sheets (yes, now we can use them) of animating objects like the morph box)
oh yea, and all stuff that was taken out (such as that TNT am +15 thingy) are welcome too, no matter if its static. I will do some work on my own of course, but the more ppl helping, the faster the JJX (it is called that) is done.

you know whats funny? when you ask people to say offtopic stuff, you get a chatroom. If you ask people to get back ontopic, the thread dies!
