Radium, don't you find it the least bit peturbing that you have to leech and copy else's 1337ness to get your social status higher... and the fact that if you screw up you've killed something great? >.>

Actually Rad's just doing what nobody else has done...yet.

I'm not "leeching" to get higher social status... well, maybe just a little . And about your second statement... well, I don't plan on screwing up. I'm confident that I can pull this off.

Oh, and in the game, Kaz, you'r sort of listed as an item and not a playable character. RPG Maker default battles have a limit of controlling 4 characters in combat at once, so you're listed as an item that Grath needs to use some "Falconing" like skills (you're a bird, remember?)... don't worry, it dosn't make the storyline change.

The story is fairly difficult to convert of a playable game. Characters seem to occasionally "dissapear" for a while. They meet Emrald on Tubelectric, it dosn't mention her for a while. Suddenly she reappears on Copper's ship four chapters later.

What am I then?

No, falcon, it has nothing to do with you because you aren't special enough aren't in the story. I'll probably release a beta a week to a month after I get/make/find some good side-view combat graphics for the chars. Apart from that, the game is coming along nicely.

Well, so far it looks like w00p! Between CT's storyline and your artistic/spriting/game-writing skillz, this should be proposterously spamtastic!

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "spiriting", but I'm sure it's a compliment =P.

I don't mean to make you feel worse, but you and Grath also share a room on the Assassin. Putting in tons of rooms would make the Assassin far too large to be a combat ship, and I'm not sure what I'd put in a bird's room anyway. Don't worry, the room has a bunk-bed =P.

1) You really shouldn't judge a person by the character's species they play. I would probably just have a computer/laptop in my room as well as one of those nifty orb thingys where you touch it and the plasma is drawn to you.

If you mean the skill required for it, it's not that hard really...

If you mean how he did it with the file editor, just search on the web for that answer, for all we know you just open the files with paint or PSP.

I know your profile said you wear a robe and pants, and I tried, but I couldn't figure out how that would work (on a bird, that is). I could try harder, but it seems as if a robe would greatly disable your flight.

I'm working on my sprite, I figured you'd need help or something in from the post in the art forum.

Gah! I don't know how to describe that type of clothing... I like that sprite though.

Wait, 48x48 for face, 24x32 fighting ?

24x32 (That's width, then hieght) for the character graphic, 48x48 for faces (Happy, sad, angry, suprised, ect), and 96x96 side view (limit 25 frames/moves) for fighting.

Just out of curiosity, are you going to make additional talking face sprite-pics or just have the face stationary when the character's talking?

Using the default RPGM2k stuff, it would be a pain to put in animated faces (and I'm too lazy), but I plan to have the faces change based on the nature what they're saying (it never made sense having someone smiling while screaming at the top of their lungs). So, essentially, yes, they'll be stationary.

b) Calm down the flaming, this counts Radium too. This thread is not about "OMG LET ME GET IN AND IF I DONT LIKE YOUR GAME ILL FLAME THE THREAD", it's Radium's game, it's his choise.
c) Your oppenins are extreme uncreative given, and there because works very offensive. You want a better background? Then make it yourself and show it to Radium, maybe he'll use it instead.

Radium, you'd mention if someone made you 3 graphics you'd put their character into a level or something neath as reward for their help, I'd like to take that offer. PM me your list of graphics mising in the moment and I'll help you draw.

Actually, Moonblaze, Xion's advice about the background was rather helpful, and it looks much better now with some gradient shading. Try not to get critisizing and flaming confused =P.

...you changed the background again? A gradient? That's good with a stretch. IMHO if you have a pattern, tile it, and if you have a gradient, stretch it.

Btw, have you been to the RM2k boards yet Radium?

I thought RPGM2k tiled it, but it appears to stretch. Is there a way to make it tile or are you hallucinating incorrect?

I think I've been there before, but the popups can be very frustrating on a forum =P. I personally see RPGM2k as a interesting tool, but not something worth dedicating a forum to. I don't like RPG2k that much, I just use it when I'm frustrated from working on 3d programming.
