What is the terrain in Gran Da Val like?

Somewhat mechanical, somewhat like a river....

Gran Da Val is a huge dam. And when the Gal Gryphon comes out to play (I may institute this if you even come NEAR my base.) it's really stormy.


There is a Jungle, A Mountain, and a Seaside area nearby, but the Actual Gran Da Val base is a mechanical dam.

Hmm... that should be a new terrain type...

Xion's base has external amplifiers of all units in the area. So all you have to do is lure the creature out of the base and volia'! A weak unit to pwn!

Remember how Xion chipped Diesel, Malta, and Tia? Yeah. Xion's base, Gran Da Val, has in the walls sensors. These sensors amplify the HP and MP of any and every unit on the premesis.

Actually, they kinda work in the oppisite direction. Damage gets cut in half and spells cost less. Though this created a problem: Fractional MP costs and Fractional Damages. How do you satisfy this? He just made the illusion of more MP and HP within the base. When you go out of the base, the HP and MP merely round up, making it nice and neat.

Also, the TNTs are made from pure mana, they just look like normal TNTs 'coz of fooish fooness.

We should make stats for bases, like : HP renew, MP renew, and so on.

Yes it does, but it doesn't leave fire. This is JJ2 TNT, after all >p

JJ2 explosions do create fire. If it is a chemical explosion, it creates fire, or at least heat. And, since heat-generating magic (like superheating something, for example) is considered fire magic, Killer would be fire magic also.

Rspss Fr stops to a halt outside a door. This, however, is not the normal lightweight metal door found in the inside of the command building of the base. It is a heavy blast door, the same kind that is found adorning the entrance. He opens the door. From walking through the frame, someone can see that the walls are very thick. When looking at the walls, someone can see there was an explosion here. And, looking at the sunlight coming through the roof, said explosion took a big chunk of the roof with it. The roof, unlike the rest of the room's walls, is very thin and lightweight. One can know enough about the room by knowing that the very same combination of a light roof and heavy walls is used in firework factories. And, when I say 'know enough', I mean know enough to see it wise to go as far away as possible.

Coughing at the smoke in the room, Risp starts to speak. However, cutting him off, is Tangent. "Don't you think the light in here really improves the decor, lieutenant general?"
"But, isn't there an easier-" Risp gives in. "Decided to get a sunroof?"
"Yes, I think it will be a great addition. But, seriously, I think I am nearing a breakthrough. I just need to..."
'He says this every day,' thinks Risp, 'but he seems to not ever get anywhere.'

Before anything could be done...before any planesmage could rebuild what damage has been done, something had to be done. The one that initiated the planal ruin had to restore the planes to how he, or she, last knew them.

Xion was the one that destroyed the planes. He holds his hands in prayer form, and starts mumbling. A restoration spell.


Soon, a lush landscape appeared beneath Xion's feet. Gran Da Val has been restored to what he had last remembered...sans X-I. Malta, Diesel, and Tia surround him. Rach nuzzles Xion's leg. "Xion!" Tia says, in her usual bubbly tone, and leaps on Xion. Xion trips over his tail and lands flat on his back, Tia on him. "You...saved us?" She says, almost confused?

"Yes." Xion nods. "I saved everybody that I could." Xion lets out a sigh, and doses off right in the grass.



Now the stage is set for a new chapter. The books were wiped clean, and rewritten. Anything is possible now, and things are all fine.

Since I was the one that killed the planes, Xion is a Planesmage after all. Xion was a planeswalker, but now is a planesmage. More abilities, more things he can do...but still same-old-Xion. Same-old-Tia. Same-old-Malta. Same-old-Diesel. Just a fresh outlook on the planes.

This happened just after the end of the first part of the game. I'm merely setting the scene.

So, wait. Are you actually starting the second chapter, or are you simply getting ready for when it will start? Oh, and thinking about it, the random story thingies I am posting happen a bit after the universe restores, but before anything interesting truely happens.

@cooba: This is after I wiped the entire plane out, and rebuilt it. So, this is the time when there was no pylon, but the world is restored as best as I could fit it. Many other planes are in the process of rebuild.

The new base is on an unspecified planet in the same plane as Ragol is. It has no pylon, but it does have a magic amplifier in construction.

Attacking you isn't my first priority. My first priority is to get everything in order. Then I can attack you or L_G.

Remember: Attack my base and you got an ANGRY Gryphon on your back. So think out your course of action.

How much is an angry gryphon to a fleet of spaceships and a small army?

Powerful, since he makes a huge cloud cover and you can't see him to attack.

And yes, sensors can not pick him up. Too much rain/lightning. And it's very close quarters, so you can't attack it with the ship.


You're better off attacking it on the ground.

A good fleet or just a high-power ship can melt the surface of a world and kill everyone on it who is not in a shelter several miles into the ground. While my fleet will never be that cool, I could bombard Ragol with nuclear bombs till your angry gryphon says 'uncle'. No stormclouds can stop that, since if you detonate a dirty nuclear bomb before it reaches the ground it will still spread radioactive fallout everywhere.

Hm. Ever wondered why Ragol is how it is? Yeah. Nuclear Fallout, almost. Photon Fallout, to be exact.

So your "nukes" may not do much.
