Just finished another level for Memories 3 : Imagination. This is yet another flag run, more simplier than the last, but this was focused on having a fun but yet simple layout. (Smaller than most of my levels) I started this I think Saturday, so yeah, 3 days... ;o

![]() ![]() This level is very much a work in progress (only about 1/3 done) but it's going along well. This section of the level is more or less complete, but the eyecandy isn't finalized yet. Might keep it the way it is, might change the background a little. Those rocks are floating on the green water, from left to right. It's a moving platform level. Blur made one years ago. This one is a bit different though, because the platform is bigger and it gets faster the further you go. Also the level is like 900x50. Hooray for weird sizes.

The green water looks a bit odd, because it could flow out of the 'windows' in the back... unless it, in fact, does.

Do you reckon you could split up the boxes a little? They don't look good the way they are now.
The background also needs work, too, the black lines (tree tiles) in the background look like bugs in the screenshot. The background fade needs to go altogether.

I want to use a colour that's not found much in the tileset, to give the level a bit more visual flavour, but obviously it needs to be something that doesn't clash.

Holy smokes, that feels and sounds great.
And I request a red fade, a bit lighter than cherry. The only even slightly buggy thing is the 'water', but that's a tileset defect, so it's easy to ignore. |

Heh. Haven't played in a long time.
I guess it's time to test my JCS skills again... ![]() I know I might have to put more tile variation up at the top ;p The name probably isn't the best either. Plus this level is 140x140, definitely bigger than any other level that I made up to date. And possibly better.

Looks too plain; the caves and walls could use a lot more depth.
Using an overly generic tileset doesn't help either. |
