Carl clumsily bashes Faw/Uberbob with his cell-phone. (10 damage)
Abydos defends

That's one too many moves for Fawbob. Keep it the same minus the attacking?

Bloodiest battle yet.

Radium, we're still discussing this in the Strategy Thread.

Here are my moves:

Shuriken: Feat AWA, N, N, attack Abydos.
AWA: Attack Faw/Bob.
Faw/Bob: Defend.
Araches/L33tz4n: N, NE, attack Abydos.

That would be what the Needle Time spell does, and we can only do it once. We don't need it right now, though.

First, WR's moves won't work because the path narrows after this turn ouf ours. Secondly, Needle Time won't work with the AWA disenchanted like Risp said in the strat thread. Lastly, Wallace is right about Carl's invulnerability, although it will last the next two turns instead of this one.

I have edited my posts, Cooba.
Why don't my moves work because the path narrows? They're nearly identical to Adam's. There's not enough space, so we must sacrifice someone.

EDIT: Radium, if you're here.. Are halved attacks rounded up or down? It's pretty important.

I based everything I have planned off of this post: http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showp...&postcount=572
Since half of 5 damage was rounded to 2

Down, I believe. Most 5 damage attacks against Abydos or defending people seem to do 2 damage, anyway.

The water elemental repeatedly attacks Abydos and gets healed for several hours, 40 HP, and three charges of Snow Skin.
Abydos dies!

the Water Elemental HP:2/8 (+): +2 movement. Takes effect round AFTER it is cast. (-):
the Accupuncturist HP:6/8 (+): (-):
Araches/L33tz4n HP:20/20 (+): (-):
Faw/Uberbob HP:20/24 (+): (-):
Code:
-2 HP/turn.Summon an Enchantresphere. Immune to magic.Attacks just take 1 move, and don't end turn, but only heal 2 HP.Raises somebody and puts them under your control, but they die at end of turn.

Abydos' blood-stained jaws lurched and creaked under the crashing force of the magical water. They shuddered, let out a final ear-splitting shriek, and fell limp, never to move again. The contracting of the bridge ceased, and the spikes behind us that blocked our path to the save point and fountain retracted back into the ground.
I sprinted forward and poked the doorway's limp carcass with my spear, just in case. It showed no reaction. I turned to the remainder of the party. "What now?"
"We.. opened the door. I guess we go in," L33tz4n concluded. The accupuncturist handed the needles back to her, bowed, and vanished, and the water elemental simply disappeared in a splash of light.

Do I get to read the Strategy Thread now? I'm curious how long ago you guys could tell I was screwed in this battle.

Good job, everyone. You did REALLY well in this battle, even despite losing Fooruman so early.

Look over the edge of the bridge to see if Fooruman and Shuriken are in sight, then Animate the dead Abydos and command him to bring them up to the bridge.

"This deserves a save!" I exclaimed optimistically. Before anyone had a chance to make fun of me I sprinted south a bit to the save point. To my surprise, Fooruman and the Canoe were there waiting for me.
"Fooruman! Why are you... didn't you.."
"I had to go to the bathroom," he said succinctly.
"Oh, okay." I decided to let logic slide, this time.

The two (three?) of us rejoined the rest of the party, who were presently waiting on the bridge.
Araches raised an eyebrow. "Where did-"
"He had to go to the bathroom."

There was only one thing left to do before we travelled on. I looked over the side of the bridge, but all I could see below was darkness. I raised my hands towards Abydos and focused my energies, immediately causing a contradition in my previous statement of "never to move again". A zombified light shone from Abydos' eyes, and from the abyss rose the body of Shuriken, held in a cradle of undead Abyss Monsters. They dropped her on the bridge and slid back down into their dark grave as Abydos went silent again.
