(Tourney starts from post 471!)

I once had this beautifully insane idea of making a cup that'd annually take place, where teams of 3 or 4 from all participating countries would play ctf (and TB and possibly something else) and compete first in a traditional scoring table where each team'd play a certain amount of times against every other team etc...

After those games have finished, the (8) best teams would randomly be made into four games, which would be the quarter finals, winners advancing to semi finals and winners of that to the finals...

Also teams that won't (with or without reason) be able to play matches would be eliminated by rules and so on...

Levels would likely be chosen by votings, nominations or simply picked by teams in some planned manner...

But the ones in this one are surefire.

I dont think you're able to get more than 5 teams.
Maybe Poland, The Netherlands, USA, (Finland) and Belgium play.
I don't think you'll get more teams.
Or you should allow more teams per country.
Though I dont think you'll get more than 8 teams anyways then.

I do not vote because you can always TRY it.
If you put enough effort in it, it can work.
Also, the people who participate should be active enough (as in being online) and willing to play.

Um, we don't even HAVE 3 Australians still actively playing JJ2 anymore, since Kuz and Daw left. Oh yes, Questio did too. So, do I have to go find some asian peeps for an Australaisa team?

Yes. Therefore you should allow more teams from a country.
The chances of making it work are a lot higher if you do so.

No you shouldn't, just have fewer teams instead.

I agree with Grytolle on this one, that is if you meant that one team per country... otherwise it'd blow the whole thing wide open...

Right, I'm going around and asking all the people I know from Australia who have JJ2 and it works online to see if they can play. I don't think I'll get many, and I'll be lucky enough to stitch together any sort of team with Australians only, but I'll try.

Oh, and it's alright to play with too few players, right? ^___^

Sorry, but there's no "point when it becomes pointless to start a new tourney"... If you ceased playing jj2, that is your own mistake... choice. What can I do about it...
