Duellist Invitational Tournament

Hello,

Please sign up for my tournament here. There are 6 spots left, so please hurry up. You can find the participating players, a mappool (which isn't binding) and the rules there.

I will announce the groups as soon as I have enough players (which is hopefully tomorrow). The tournament won't use really strict deadlines, but just finish your matches as soon as possible.

Check the site for more information.

I would sign up for this, but since I time out to often every match I played would count as a forfeit.

EDIT - Maybe I'll give it a go anyway.

From the rules page: "Players are not allowed to use any cheat tools, or other kinds of software which gives them a slight advantage over the opponent."

Just to make sure I don't do anything stupid during the tournament: is seekhole a software which gives a slight advantage, or is it a bug fix everyone is supposed to have by now?

And it's a bug fix, Enigma. But doesn't Carrotade fixes seekholes anyway?

Only client side. (So that means only for the host.)

And eh..
I am looking forward to duel:

Group 1: Mati, RiCCardo, Squirrel, Urbs, Vegito..

So lets hurry up!
I will lose the finals of the other cup tomorrow so I can duel like next weekend! :P

Actually, there are still four spots left..

ChaosLord, Dejman, Master Sven and Saphir didn't confirm yet (though I think they will participate), so any other player who still wants to participate can take their spot.

Edit: Both Master Sven and Dejman confirmed, Novastar replaced Saphir.. 1 last spot left!

Impressive that we got even 40 people up for a single tournament. But the popularity of duellist-tournaments was already noticed, once the JJ2WC-signups were done in 1 and ½ hours, so that isn't much a surprise.

The groups look balanced(I'm at least glad about mine), and the mappool seems fine, although it's only "suggesting" this time.

You're going to count an austrialian in, who even confirmed she doesn't have a computer FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT 10 DAYS?
The timezone already is +11 GMT and even no pc. Its gonna be hard to duel her.

Yes, I give her a chance. If it turns out wrong, I can still replace her (since she won't have any matches played in that case, see the rules).

About the timezone. Yes, you're right. As the rules say, she should arrange her matches herself. If she won't be able to do that, she will be replaced.

Anyway, I think this could work.

People don't seem to have enough time for that. So just always play till 5, even if both players agree on 10.

played the same way except to 10 points instead of 5

besides, two matches were already played to 10, it would be dumb to suddenly change that rule after the tourney has begun.

No, actually, I told you the whole tournament would use the system as in JJ2WC3 Duellist Cup. You played till 5 there too. As Gry said, it would be weird to use different rules in one tournament. And I can't change the fact that you played two times till 10 already, but please play till 5 now.

the log i showed to qz proves something else. don't protect him just because he's your friend\in your clan\whatever. it also proves clearly that if anyone is scared, it's him. besides, i'm quite positive mave could've talked for himself.

and i get a forfeit win after all.
