You'll probably need to cheat. I don't know if there's an utility for doing this, but you could always edit the memory of JJ2 yourself using a tool such as Cheat Engine.

Those seem to be tileset's own colors, so it isn't certain that they will work... Was it ... 70+ color values at jazztool?

This tileset uses default jazz jackrabbit palette.
I played it multiplayer with my 70+ edited colors.

Then that will probably work only with that tileset. Default JJ2 palette range is 0-95. (Checked this time)

The fur color of player 1 is stored in the address 0x5A544C (1.23) or 0x5C8A6C (1.24) and takes up 4 bytes. You might want to set the variable type in CE to array of 4 bytes in order to get the values to show up correctly. You'll need to suicide before your edit will take effect. 00 00 00 00 is default fur, other hex values show the corresponding palette entries (8 colors starting from the color you specify). 10, 18, 20, 28, 30, 40, 48, 50, and 58 (38 doesn't have a proper gradient) are the standard fur colors. You can go through the CE tutorial for basic usage of the program.
