So, here it is: my first ctf lvl. I’m not sure you will like it but you never know…. The tileset I used is WAZ02, and it uses Paint’s 256 colors(cuz I don’t have anything else). The level name is wazctf01. Please rate this, and have fun!
Well, I must say that if this is your first CTF level, I’m impressed. This level has good quality design, and uses a good looking tileset, made by the creater himself.
Design isn’t that open, but it isn’t very crampty claustrofobic either. It features some well placed tunnels and platforms. Everything is pretty well aligned, and I haven’t been able to find any major gameplay bugs. Everything is very fluent, wich should result in fun and fast gameplay, and a fun game when hosted online.
Items, such as powerups have been placed in a good way. Well divided across the level, I’ve got no major complaints about the ammo placement.
Tileset use is just fine, but that was to be expected, because its the authors own set, and he should know how to use it, shouldn’t he? =P
I must say i really like this level, and may even host it in my server from time to time. I was undecided between a 7.7 and a 8.0. Dont ask me why. A VERY HIGH download recomendation.
Frankly, if this truly is your first name, Waz (IF THAT IS YOUR REAL NAME ;-p) I hope to see many more CTF levels from you.
Gameplay is fairly simple, as in most first levels, but what it does it does very well. Weapon placement is very good, as is eyecandy and tileset use. Navigation is fairly easy, though some of the bottlenecks are badly placed and can be annoying during play.
This is still a great level worth download.
jumps around
curses
Slow mother*censored*in’ hairy bull*censored*!!
WHY DIDN’T I READ THE DESCRIPTION?
(I thought it was a tileset by “wuz”)
calms down
hits the keyboard very hard
scratches his butt
an 8 is displayed on the screen
Good job, Wuz!
