Well, its been a while, but i’ve released another level. This time using the brand new Space Warbase tileset by Disguise. I recomend all beta testers to download the level afterall, because i made some minor adjustments when the beta tesing was done.
This level would seem to be fun to play in (I still haven’t got a chance to really play it yet). It has nice flow, good weapon placement, and the eye candy is alright (but that’s just because I don’t like some of the tiles in the tileset). Everything is good, thus making this a good level.

Hahahaha, I am so pathetic. I’ve been playing this level for like 2 years almost and I havent even reviewed it. Anyways, here goes:
Layout/Gameplay: I love the layout here, the base placement and stuff is fairly original and the bottom has great flow and strategy to it. I dont like some passages because they are a bit narrow and I crash into the ceiling slopes, but whatever. Warps are also strategic and a lot of multiple routes. OWNAGE.
Eyecandy: Pretty good, a bit plain in some areas but in places like the bottom its really awesome. Nothing too original about it, but Im satisfied with it either way.
Placement of stuff: Decent, powerups are placed alright except the Toaster is way closer to the red base then the seeker is to the blue base. Also, no idea why you put pepper spray here, since it wasnt needed that much, but you could’ve placed more of it here then 3 +3 ammos on each side. Carrot placement is good except the red side has the +1 carrot while the blue side doesnt >|||. Although, strangely, this never bothered me in duels…
Originality: Yeah. Back when it was released, it was pretty original, and hey, people still play it today!
Overall (Not an average): One of my favorite CTF levels, heck, one of my favorite levels. I’ve played this for years and I still love it. Lots of strategy (and camping ;D) involved, I almost love this as much as SBv2. The music is also a good fit, and is hilarious when it speeds up to like 5x the speed when you die at times because of a jj2 glitch. ;D.

Final Rating: 8.64 rounded up to an 8.7. This is among the top best CTF levels imo (and the top overhosted ones) so if you don’t have it, you should definately get this. I feel so stupid for not reviewing it beforehand.
Probably Cell’s best CTF level. This level has a great layout, uses the tileset well, is easy to move around in and is balanced. Everything in this level is good, and I can’t find any real flaws in it, making this review extremely short.

This is a bug that happens only in single player. I haven’t been able to figure out what causes it. Play the level in multi player and the bases are normal.

This level is great, the eyecandy is amazing, good gameplay, good music.
But there’s a bug that prevent me from rating this, You made both bases blue. ‘
I must say this: great CTF lvl. I was one of the betatesters of this lvl and when I saw it my jaw went open. Now it’s at the bottom of the floor.
The eyecandy is the best I’ve ever seen using this tileset (but then I’ve only seen two lvls ;-) and the gameplay is so good you could almost cry.
There are almost no bugs or flaws at all. Actually there is. The middle part of the lvl is way too empty. That makes toasters, RFs and seekers the dominant weapons. Also, there are only a couple 3X bouncers in the lvl, with the exception of the powerup. Put more in!!!!! (And the same goes for gun8 and gun9, too..)
No lvl is perfect, and it counts for Z-z-z-…aitocks…er…Zaitox Station 67 as well, but it’s a mighty good lvl. Every decent Jazzer should take a good look at this.

Agreed I tried to edit the post, I can’t, well, sinice I signed up for a new acount, I can use the change for review your level fair.
It’s a fun and different from other CTF levels, I like the gameplay, download recomed.
Jeebs, this level made me want to make a level just like it when I played it, so with the eyecandy adjustments and various other doodads (is that a word?), I’m working more on my level again. ;)
Brilliant eyecandy, asteroids, nice use of Disguise’s set, even uses the turrets. It’s also one of the few, if only, level I’ve seen that has good gameplay whilst having the bases right next to each other.
The middle is quite open, and when I played around with CelL seekers were the weapon of choice. Which is good, because some parts of the level allow quick escape and makes em hard to hit (or at least, CelL and Rage were).
Great level, I’d recommend you downlaod this now. I mean, sheesh, it’s a CELL level. The CelLman rules. Get it now!

Because CelL made all his cool, then I cannot say best. Best is music from it, my favoritest unofficial music now. Cool.

Weapon placement is good red/blue have totally fair places, eyecandy is cool. I love this level much. Maybe I love all levels by CelL. Great shows, what is weapon placement and what is eyecandy. Good shows how make level for masters. It is master’s work.
Oh. Maybe CelL’s best CTF level. lol
Ok, I will change this review into a quite long one.
Gameplay: Good/Very Good. It’s not perfect. The spring placement was very good. But when you fall down at a base, you need to go back up. You can get stuck somewhere. There are many sucker tubes, and that makes the gameplay even better. Also, the balance is as good as it must be.
Eye candy: Very Good. I loved it. There were lots of stuff in layer 4 and 3. It was really one of the best eye candy I ever saw. There were also lots of brown and mud tiles. I liked that.
Pickup placement: Good/Very Good. There was not really many ammo, and the place of the bouncers was questionable(the bouncers near the bases). It’s better for Jazz, I think. There are 3 PU’s. Seeker, Bouncer and Toaster. The most ammo in one group was 9 gun9. There was also a Full Energy(of course). It’s good placed, but I think that it’s closer to the blue base. There is also a +1 carrot at the centre of the level. The Toaster Power-Up was closer to the red base, I guess.

Love the flow, love the open space in between and the “catacombs” underneath. The fact it’s still being played today, 8 years after its release tells you a lot.
However, I have to say, that in my opinion it is slightly overlooked if we compare it to levels like semi and distopia, especially the latter has got a lot less going for it in terms of gameplay.
Zaitox allows for smart gameplay, but it’s also incredibly quick. You can die and be in the enemy base in no time.
Cell, in my opinion, was always good at making original levels, that were a wee bit different from all the rest. I remember one which had a specially interesting way of getting in and out of the enemy base, but short of downloading all of cells levels, I really couldn’t tell you which one it was.
However, we can safely say, that this great levelmaker will be best remembered for this very level, and with good reason, because it is indeed one of the best.
I think nobody deserves a 10, so I’ve decided to give it a 9,5
