QuikJoin is a program which allows you to join servers but it will stop you from joining private servers. Sure it may just be another program which organizes a server’s data but this has its own features. It tells you much about the server before you join it, such as: server name, private / public, playercount, version, gametype, serveruptime, ipaddress, ping, hostname, and MOST PROBABLE HOST. the last thing, most probable host, is a database ive been working on. I thought since many people have different hostnames, maybe i can actually make the program “guess” the host for the server. So far it has knowledge of 30 people. These are: Defost, Spy, Sally, Sav, Spazzyman, Alberto, Newspaz,
Refalm, Killerleop, Dizzy, White Rabbit, Cracco Boy CC,
GenEX, CelL, Wrustland, bUrNeR, stefan, gotenks WCT,
JackassCC, Ruffe, Marco, m@zTeR, DarkShadow, Taz, mirrow,
blackninjacc, better spaz, BR>Spaz12, Violet CLM, TwErP. and they are all in an internal database. Also, if you would like your name added to the database, just send me your jj2name and your hostname. Supports 1.23 and 1.24 servers only. Thanks for reading this long description and i hope you enjoy this program i have worked hard to make. See you in the next release.
Oh ya, and one more thing. Run Pathset.exe before you run quikjoin.exe, and make sure they are in the same directory! otherwise you will get a file not found error.
I’m flattered that I’m mentioned:-P
A nice program, but it has some irritating things. The font size is too small, especially with a high resolution screen, and the screnn could use a normal blue bar at the top. The most probable host thing is funny, but it’s not very trustable. Maybe it would be a nice idea to also pust a “Host name:” thing in. It should say the name of the server (I mean the nickname) so you can see who started the server.
Overall, nice program. It doesn’t add much features but has a clear layout with a (too bad!) way too small font size. Download recommended, altough I still like JazzTool more.
Whoa! My name’s in the database! +2 points for that!!!! :-P
Ok, ok, I’ll calm down.
This is a very useful but very un-original program. We’ve all seen this stuff before but those who hasn’t got one yet, download this NOW.
I agree with Fl@sh. Nice program though..I am thinking about making a simmulair program, except for a diffirent game.
