Firstly, let me say this screws up your color when you play it. Its completely missing the important tiles, has bad textures, not much good quality. It has tons of useless tiles and no useful tiles, thankfully he/she included some ground. thank god for that. The tileset looks to screwy and i dun like it much, sorry, no download reccomendation here, try getting a better paint program, MS paint rarely gets high marks. HECK ITS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE FOR IT TO GET OVER 6!!
I dun think ill be seeing any levels made with this tileset, other than the example level o’ course.

Edit: You downloaded because its your job ;P

Harrumph…
I make OK tilesets (excluding the first I sent here, it was horrible) and I use MS paint…

As for the tileset, bad, I don’t even know why I downloaded it. Messed up colors, and just not very good looking.
Sorry, no d/l recommendation…[This review has been edited by RSPSS FR]

!@#$!@#$!@#$!@#$ INTERNET EXPLORER!!! I worked hard on a extensive review for this, but accidentally typed in the wrong name, and lost all of my work. I’ll sum it up.

1. Use the remap tileset palette function. It would make Jazz’s colors not so bad.

2. Don’t rip tiles unless you’re basing a tileset off a game.

3. a better paint program would help your tilesets a lot.

First of all, I must say that I hate it when people make zips unzip to a new subfolder. I spent about five whole minutes trying to think where the heck the tileset was going. And I have to say, it really wasn’t worth my five minutes unfortunately. The tileset features what looks a lot like a world made of ice. However, there are still “jaggies” left over from the original tileset stencil that could have been easily removed and should have been. Graphics quality is decent-ish, but still are obviously drawn in Microsoft Paint. It all ends up looking really cartoony, which is good in some tilesets, but definitely isn’t good enough in a frozen world tileset, where I expect good-looking and textured ice along with some nice-looking ground and snow. The ice in this is decidedly not textured. In fact, it doesn’t look as much as ice as it does like some kind of frozen yougert-like goo that you might see leaking out of a vat in a school cafeteria. This tileset suffers from not enough time spent on it, a bad drawing tool being used, and the jaggies left behind from the stencil. Simply removing the jaggies would significantly improve many of the ratings, including mine. The sucker tubes, which are animated (/me writhes), look cheesy and are more suited from a 1999 “OMG I MAKE LEVEL IT FLASHY HOTEL I AM COOL” level than a 2002 level that is actually good. Get Photoshop Elements, and I’m sure you could make some pretty good tilesets. However, this tileset is one that could have been and should have been. No download recommendation.

First of all don’t compare yourself to others -10,000 points J/K.

Well I was guessing this was supposed to be IceCap Zone for Sonic 3 and Sonic 3+Knuckles.

But it turns out to be something completely different. This tilesets screws your colors up, and there is a way to fix this, -2 points for that. The tileset colors are kinda bad. The eye candy is also bad.

Actually, it IS a world of ice, from Sonic 3, and i must say, that you cant remake a tiny bit of the level, with these unusable tiles. Rip some more tiles 9USEFUL ONES) next time
