This is a good, nice looking level.
There are several places where the eye candy is less than perfect, but the same could be said about many levels. The level ‘flows’ very well. Never did I find myself saying “ARGH, SPAZ BIASED” or anything like that. A good level in general. Download recommendation.
It is good!!!
Very, very big…
Too big I think.
And, I think, it is like race. Who first get 20 coins, won. For duels this is unusable. First important thing. This is good only for 10 and more players. But, if you have 10 players, it is funny. Very funny. You must have 10 players, because this is big, and coinfully… For big battles it is cool.[This review has been edited by Danyjel]
This is a pretty good platform based, wide open battle level. The weapons are fairly well placed, and their are enough weapons for a level this size. Suprisingly, this level is only 70 by 70 but feels much larger. Even though this is one of those place random things around and call it a level, It could easly be considered a battle level. However, the eye candy is hurting in some spots. Well, it uses mez 01 so i wasn’t expecting anything amazing, but some spot’s eye candy could have been much better. The music didn’t really work for me. Anyway, I’m done now so…WHEE ARGH.
Good number of weapons for its size.
Eye candy was kinda akward in some spots.
Btw: Odd music choice…Next time have a set idea for a level in mind…You got lucky with this level.
Uber coins warp turns you invincible.
Nice little level, but I can\‘t exactly say I like the gameplay or the eyecandy. Download reccomendation.[This review has been edited by labratkid]
Why is this called Egypt Space? It’s Mez, I thought it was Agama’s Egypt or something. Anyway, the level isn’t great, because of lack of eyecandy and stupid gameplay with many dead ends. There is some nice eyecandy but Acid Psy didn’t make that everywhere sadly enough. The music made it a bit like Egypt, it’s a nice music for tilesets like Persian Paradise, but don’t fits really in this level. The ammo placement is ok, but it’s too less. Overall I’ll give it a 6.7 and download reccomendation for who don’t watch the eyecandy.
This is a nice level. It is a bit big but, not too big. Eyecandy is nice but, it could be better in other places. I like the weapon placement. I give this a 8.0.
This is average level. gameplay is quite nice, and so is the weapon placement…this deserves an a 6.7
Egypt Space is so called because it uses music that sounds Egyptian. Sort of. It uses the Mez01 tileset, which is probably where the Space came from. Not the best way to name your level, but it works, at least.
It’s hard to be original with the Mez tileset nowadays, but this at least tries. Layer 4 is mainly made up of the blocks and plastic tubing, while layers 3 and 5 are made up of the pipes. Yes, on top of each other. They’re transparent, though, which gives it a weird effect. It’s dotted with flick lights and fire ambients too. Layer 8 is standard parallaxing clouds, and there’s some stars and stuff. The tileset doesn’t provide explicit layer eyecandy, but you could at leasy use your imagination.
The layout is very empty, and placey. Most of the action takes place around the borders, linked together by layer 5 pipes. There’s big empty spaces in the middle where you can just fall. These sort of levels happen when an author has one idea after another, and puts them together. This looks very patchy. But what is there isn’t bad, you can get around most of it nice and easy.
There were four carrots in this level, two of which need warps to get to – I thought this was a bit much. Weapon placement also seemed a bit bunched-up in places, where there’s lots of it in one place. There’s three powerups – Toaster, Bounce and Blaster – which need 20 coins to access all three of them. This might give players too much of an advantage.
The music was FlyingIndian.xm. Use your head.
Download recommendation, I’m not sure if others will like it. It’s not a bad effort, though.
Eat your lima beans, Johnny.
