Two levels using modified bloxonius tilesets, that now work in v1.23.
Naturally there are a few differences from the original.
Two very good single player levels. I liked the way the set was used and the layout was cool. Enemy placement was good. I sort of felt the Citadel level became confusing. The Citadel level could also use some music… hmmm… ;-)
Overall a very good Single Player worth your download. :-)
In the first level, I had a problem with a warp. I went through the warp, and the died. The savepoint is right in front of the warp, so I reappeared there. I think the ceiling is too close there, because I got stuck. Here’s a picture, assuming the html works.. http://www.noogy.com/derek/jj2n/blox.jpg
Update: The bugs have been fixed and the levels re-uploaded, with all the music files included. Sorry.
Some very nice single player levels. Though I wish the two levels were the same in legth. Oh well.
Also, I find that the One Ways were used poorly in a lot of places.
But level design, event placement, ect, were all very nicely done.
Very most worth the time to download.
This is a pretty cool pack of two single player levels using edited versions of the Bloxonius tileset from Jazz1 Holiday Hare 95 shareware.
The design (which also means enemy placement) is very good and makes sense. Same with the eyecandy. I really like the way the tiles are placed. The music also fits perfectly because its the original files from HH95.
As you noticed, i don’t have any serious complaints at all, it only should be mentioned that the two levels are a tad too easy (way too many savepoints!).
But overall, this is definitely WORTH THE DOWNLOAD. If you like(d) Lego and played HH95 back then, you’ll love this even more.
Hey, Toxic Bunny!
It’s very good level pack!
Good enemy combination.
I had not much fun playing this pack. Good there were just 2 levels, nice tileset though, but the background should be less eyetwisting. I wonder why you didn’t use blocks to build something good looking in the background. And when the player finds secret passage, he shouldn’t have problems with getting out. There were more irritating details in leveldesign, sometimes passages were too small, sometimes spaces too huge and empty. A bit over average: 6 points.
Gameplay was really good. There were some nice tiles in there.
Fits the lvls really great!
Music really fit the lvl.
Very well done!
Only two lvls are still good for a single player download.
Very well done!!nice tiles in Layer 2 and 5.
Eat your lima beans, Johnny.
