Description

Well, it’s about time it made its way here!

It’s the JAZZ 2 MOD PLAYER

This is essentially a hacked Jazz 2 1.23.1 that’s been configured to run MOD-files. This can be extensively useful to play either J2B files, or to test how a file sounds in JJ2 without needing to make a level dedicated to that song.

Anyways, enjoy. And comments are much appreciated. ;)

Are you two absolutely sure that you followed the instructions in about.txt?

The access violation is necessary and isn’t actually an error, for the reason given in this post by UF: http://www.jazz2online.com/jcf/showpost.php?p=347764&postcount=1

I have a weird problem with this program: It runs flawlessly on a desktop computer running Windows 7 Home Edition 64-bit, and yet a Dell Latitude D830 laptop running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit cannot run it at all.

I honestly have no idea why one computer accepts it without complaining at all and the other arbitrarily decides to reject it outright.

What the hell is going on?

BTW: I have followed the instructions perfectly and in exactly the same manner on both computers, and I have played the same songs in both cases, from the same directory and path, under the same compatibility settings.

Haha, I somehow passed by this program by clicking too many links.. It works fine for a 2006 utility and does it’s job, besides Modplug Tracker supporting J2B’s for years now and Bass.dll giving a more accurate touch to all mods while played through JJ2+.
